Maracuyá Zipolite Hostel & Gym, Fast Wifi, Yoga Platform

I would say 7/10. Has everything you need, just not the best. Was super nice to have the gym on site tho

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting beaches close to Zipolite. The dorm has A/C and is pretty simple. Big lockers outside. Use your own pad lock. There is good wifi. The kitchen is ok but could be better. I cooked every night. I enjoyed the place cos of the other backpackers and the chill atmosphere. However the hostel itself needs and upgrade and owners or reception who is actually on site. I think this hostel used to be a very popular one but got sold and now is run more low key.

It’s a nice place overall. The dorm room isn’t that nice. But it’s Zipolite so you don’t need to spend much time in the dorm. The outside area is nice

LOVED my stay at maracuyá!!! Amazing staff, quiet location and good for sleeping, beautiful spaces. Came for 2 nights ended up staying for a few weeks. Bets hostel in Zipolite!

I likes the hostel, big kitchen, friendly atmosphere, but they don’t do the breakfast anymore like showed in the picture

Was nice hostel but not amazing! The location is perfect and the place has a nice outdoors/beach vibe which is nice if you're into that. The kitchen facilities are good and there is enough table space for those who need to work. It's a small hostel though, just one big room, and there isn't a bar or any activities so not the place for you if you're looking for a social/ party vibe. BUT in saying that, you can still meet people there if you are down for somewhere quiet and chill

Really lovely stuff! Nice chill area but the bedroom and the toilets and showers aren’t enjoyable tbh.

Perfect location, Hostal itself not the best. But you never lounge there anyway so it didn't make a huge difference

Came here because we didn’t find anything else for the night. The dorm doesnt have any windows and is very packed. Bathrooms didnt have toilet paper and were not very clean. Staff was nice but not very attentive and seemed busy just hanging out. Would recommend looking for other options in town once you are there or check on other sites to stay in zipolite

Loved my stay. I met amazing people and overall my experience was super positive especially because of the volunteers working there - they made me feel home!

Super Hostel Très bien placé, volontaires géniaux, cuisine bien équipée, espaces communs agréables, je m’y suis personnellement sentie super bien.

Une de nos meilleures auberges pour le moment au Mexique, que ce soit par l’équipe de volontaires, leur bienveillance, leurs conseils et surtout tous les jours une super ambiance: des vrais moments de vie partagés. Un espace coworking sympa pour ceux qui en ont besoin. Mais les dortoirs sont petits et pas isolés et il faut être prêt à jouer le jeu du côté un peu hippie avec les douches en demi extérieur. À 2min de la plage, commerces et restau!

Worst hostel ever. The staff were rude and condescending. I arrived at 12 PM, checked in, and paid, then politely asked for a locker as I’m traveling with valuable items (drone, cameras, laptop, cash, etc.). They refused, claiming no lockers were available. However, I saw over 20 unused lockers nearby. When I pointed this out, the staff became angry and kicked me out, saying I was no longer welcome. Completely unprofessional behavior. Avoid this place at all costs!

+: Les volontaires ont été très agréables, l'hostel est bien placé, il y a une grande cuisine - : les serviettes sont payantes, il n'y a que 2 toilettes et 2 douches, les personnes ivres ne sont pas exclues ( note pour la sécurité) et ne respectent pas le calme des dortoirs :/

Is an amazing place the best are the people who manage the hostal. Is really close to the beach and is around different places like bars, clubs, grocery stores and also the bus station. A big plus is that the room is really quiet and you can sleep very well even when the party is in the next corner. I will recommend this hostal mostly for young people in addition they have the option to move you to a cabaña. Lovely place and amazing experiences.
