I stayed for a week and had a great time staying at the Castle Star. Excellent location for walking around Amman. Staff were super kind, and the overall atmosphere was great to sit and chill after day trips and being out and about.

Nice hostel in Amman..Great location, although it is up a steep hill! Nice beds and dorms with privacy curtains. Great views and clean and staff very helpful. Recommended.

Wasn’t the most social hostel but in a great area and super easy to get about. Keep in mind it’s cash only. Man on the front desk was lovely, he offered to order me in Mansaf as the weather was bad and I didn’t want to leave the hostel. Super welcoming and lovely staff and clean hostel in a nice area

Solid hostel, good location next to the Citadel and close to the main Old Town area; security a bit lax, but overall I would recommend.

very good place. I liked the very soft and light atmosphere of the living room. Staff really friendly and nice. There were lockers.

Hotel should have some more facilities. Tourists would prefer card payment and hotel should make some facilities on that rather than liquid cash as payment. There is no lift and washrooms are not spacious. Some more improvements should be made on total to make stay comfortable.

A great place to stay, on top of the hill and close to the Citadel.

I loved this place! one of my fave hostels ever! the staff are AMAZING and food so so good. getting the breakfast/dinner is so worth it and great takeaway lunch to bring on hikes. Loved having the privacy of my own cabin but the social common room, met some cool people and got great recommendations for hikes. Location couldn’t be better too, so close to the visitor centre. I would never stay anywhere else! Everything was clean and comfortable, with locks. I loved my time here!

Jeg kom sliten etter sykdom og med en spontan reise, men Mohammad og familien var varme, hjelpsomme og gjorde hele opplevelsen spesiell. Hotellet er koselig og behagelig, med en felles balkong med utsikt over det romerske teateret og gamlebyen – magisk ved soloppgang og utover mot kveldsmørket. Rommet var komfortabelt, sengen god, og små detaljer som gratis teutvalg, kaffe og filtrert vann gjorde oppholdet ekstra hyggelig. Beliggenheten er perfekt, midt mellom Citadellet og gamlebyen, nær...

I spent some good time in this hostel, very kind staff and all the facilities included as it's written and depicted in pictures. However, I would recommend other people for transportation or tourist exploration, for example Ahmad (+962 7 9924 0491) who totally helped me to create good memories and same money as well!

Great location for the Citadel and downtown 5 mins walk. Mohamad was friendly and helpful and makes a great breakfast. Single rooms are small and comfy and easy place to stay.

Cute hostel/hotel in a great spot on Citadel Hill. The dorms are very affordable and offer an amazing view, including from the terrace, over downtown and the Roman theater, both within walking distance. Big thanks to Mohamed for his great tips. He’s also setting up new private rooms with all the comforts. I’d just set the canary 😉

The location it's great right next to the Citadel, near the Roman amphitheater, near city center, the staff fantastic, very helpful, attentive, affordable and clean, I actually have new reservation to go back, so I do recommend it good atmosphere

Todo bien lo malo es que hay un grupo como de 20 chinos que todo el día ocupan la cocina la sala el comedor y las áreas comunes uno ya no podía usar nada por que todo el día te los encuentras en todo el hostal y algunos se van a dormir en las tardes en habitaciones que no les corresponden yo cuando salía y regresaba ya encontraba durmiendo en mi habitación se levantaban y se retiraban son muy cochinos en el baño pero el hostal está bien solo deberían poner seguro a las habitaciones para...

The hostel is great located, nice facilities, clean, comfortable beds, and it has a cafe. Yunus was very friendly and helpful when checking in and during my stay. Definitely 100% recommend.
