Moustache Udaipur

I had a really great time at the property. I stay there for six days and it felt like home. The host. Aayush is also very genuine and humble person. 10/10 anytime. Kuldeep

Please avoid at all costs. Our belongings were stolen from their luggage storage. The staff don't care, bedding is damp and the noise and lighting is horrendous. apart from the rooftop bar, which is a seperate venue, there is nothing redeemable about this place at all. If you India holiday looks like black mould and horrendous bathroom smell then this is good, otherwise AVOID THIS PLACE.

Assez déçue. J'ai l'habitude de voyager en auberge en Inde donc je suis assez tolérante mais là c'était pas ouf. On avait réservé une chambre privée, c'était ultra humide et pas hyper propre ! Le matin à 6h on s'est fait réveillé par les gens dans l'espace commun qui parlaient super fort sans se soucier de ceux qui dorment encore, j'ai dû faire ma reloue et descendre dire à la réception que c'était un peu abusé de rien dire à ces gens à cette heure-ci. On a check out avant.. B...

Stayed at Moustache Hostel Udaipur and absolutely loved the vibe! The dorms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with lockers and charging points. The rooftop café had stunning views of Lake Pichola, perfect for sunsets and meeting fellow travelers. The staff was super helpful and friendly, always ready with local tips. Great mix of backpackers, fun activities, and a lively atmosphere. Ideal spot for budget travelers who want comfort and culture together.

The hostel is situated in a great location! The staff are really friendly. Bharath was very hospitable and took us for a sunrise tour from the hostel. We celebrated Holi at this hostel and it was the best experience we ever had all thanks to the very kind staff🙏🏼 The building is slightly old and needs some fixing but apart from that everything was great!

This was my first time at Moustache's property in Udaipur and I had an amazing experience. I visited the hostel during Holi and was on a solo trip. Surprisingly Bharat whom I had known from Jaipur was the manager there. He was really helpful and provided me with a smooth check-in and other requests as well. He also organised for us to celebrate the Holi festival and also took us on a sunrise tour. This was my first trip to Udaipur after 2021 and it was definitely a 10/10.

Great roof top terrace. Mouldy room, decaying all over. Cleanliness not particularly satisfactory. Staff ok.

We booked a private room, it was in a separate building with no communal areas. The room had extreme damp. We told the hostel and they denied it but you can see clearly black mould on the ceiling and in the corners of the room. We arranged a pick up with the hostel at 3am in the morning from the train station and they didn't turn up.

what we saw was dom is too small to accomodate 4 person. bathroom was so small that you can only stand Also the door was in pathetic condition as it was broken and co-roommate could see inside bathroom. the ventilator was open and people could see whats happening in bathroom from outside After complaining to reception, they simply said they cant do anything in this. no accountability from hostel reception. strightaway checked out from hostel and booked hotel nearby. Not at all recommended.

Does not live up to the rest of Moustaches around India. Staff were super helpful and helped me to change rooms but the rooms are dirty. The hostel is noisy with other guests partying. Location is good but if you want a decent nights sleep would probably recommend staying elsewhere. It’s a shame because every other moustache I’ve stayed in has been amazing

Great stay. Rooms were comfy and secure, the restaurant served good food and had live music, the location is fantastic and the hostel is really clean and well maintained. The staff are also fantastic, particularly Pritam - who was very friendly and informative - and Narayan who was a great help during my stay and remained positive and friendly in spite of my tired grumpiness when I check in at 5 am. I recommend this hostel.

Overall it was a good stay. We booked a private room in the hotel. It was a pleasant stay and the staff also responded well. However, I feel the room didn't match the pictures mentioned on the website. They had tours on-going for the hoteliers which is good and had live- music nights.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette hostel, il y avait un super rooftop et nous étions vraiment bien placé ! Petit bémol, faites attention aus prix des sunset et sunrise qui sont bien trop élevé pour ce que c’est !

Malgré quelques équipements en dessous de mes attentes, j'ai passé un très bon séjour au sein de l'hôstel Moustache d'Udaipur. L'hostel propose de nombreuses activités.
