Leaf Sustainable Hostel

Nice cafe downstairs. Big comfy beds. Good security and I enjoyed the big lockers. The major downfall was the cleanliness of the place. The room had not been swept in what seemed a while. The bathroom shower was right next to the toilet making it awkward to use. But all in all the bathroom was just so dirty. Sink with grim, mirror was grim, toilet wasn’t great. It smelt pretty bad too majority of the time from the smells from outside, maybe that was why there were so many cockroaches around.

I got there at 20:30 and they told me the hostel was closing due to an emergency & would be closed for the next month. They kicked everyone out and didn’t give more of an explanation. They informed us they already booked us to stay somewhere else. The place they booked for us was in a different part of town & the most recent reviews said it had bed bugs. I had to ask for my deposit for the room back and scramble to find an alternative option late at night.

This place operates more for a place to stay than a hostel since there's only a kitchen area in the common area outside the dormitories. The beds are very spacious and have draw blinds. The ground and 1st floor are for the vegan cafe/restaurant.

not much of a social vibe, but a super nice hostel

Nice private pod-style beds, but no social area and no staff there for the hostel (the restaurant staff are great but their focus is the restaurant and they just check you in and out). Location is nice and very close to the beach. I enjoyed the stay but would have liked to have someone around to ask questions about local areas, tours, and transport. Place was clean though, relaxing, and I would stay here again if I don't feel like socialising.

It is a great hostel regarding the security, staff and placement. However it was missing the chill social side of a hostel, maybe due to the fact that it is above a restaurant.

Fave hostel!!! Perfect location, amazing friendly staff. Dorm room was everything you could ask for, very comfy bed and loads of room, shelf and even a little clothes rail. Nice bathroom. Only note is that it wasn’t social at all, but i didn’t mind that as there’s bars in the area. 10/10 go here

Points positifs : auberge calme et bien située, proche de la plage. Le restaurant juste en dessous est très pratique et agréable. Points négatifs : l’amabilité n’était pas au top j’avais l’impression de déranger. Il y avait également pas mal de fourmis proche de mon lit. L’insonorisation pourrait être meilleure et une étagère en plus dans la salle de bains serait la bienvenue !

Really cool place wish I had stayed longer! The location is so nice and close to beach and the restaurant that it sits on top of is so beautiful and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bed area are giant and private. Would stay here again

Highly recommend this hostel! It’s not social but if you’re looking for somewhere to chill or get some work done it’s very nice and has everything you need :) So close to the beach as well

Personnel sympa, chambre propre et lit confortable et suffisamment grand. L'emplacement est parfait, proche de certains commerces et de la plage.

Stayed just one night and had a great stay. Rooms and beds are spacious, bathrooms are inside the rooms which is a bit inconvenient (if someone is in the shower, you can't use the toilet or sink). For one night not a problem though. Staff was ok. Highlight was the amazing breakfast. Definately worth to pay extra for (got pesto toast, smoothiebowl and a drink included). Not a very social hostel, but still possible to meet other travelers.

Une des meilleures auberges qu'il m'ait été donné de faire en l'espace de 3 mois de voyage en Asie. On s'y sent comme à la maison, on y mange bien, on y dort bien. Les lits sont spacieux, ce qui crée un petit cocon très confortable, très ingénieux ! Merci pour votre accueil :)

One of the best hostel I’ve ver stayed .. bed is be tu comfortable ,, our place is very clean and everyone is super nice. I totally recommended

Lovely clean hostel in a great location.

Great hostel. Bed was comfy, bunk felt super private and the location is excellent. Kitchen area had a nice big table, plenty of sockets for charging and a water filter, kettle, tea and cups. I'd stay again in a heartbeat

This Hostel is not social. The people are not very communicativ and are just starkng on their phones or laptops. Gives me kind of a influencer vibe. It‘s very loud, but clean. And you have a little kitchen area with a fridge. Food is quite expensiv.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were the most spacious we've had so far in a hostel, everything was clean and staff was friendly. Free water refill and a small kitchen area with hot water kettle and microwave. Lockers were large enough to fit both the main backpack as well as day pack. Location is great, just a two minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurant/Cafés with vegan options around. Really liked the breakfast options at the vegan café below the hostel as well!

Pros: Main benefit is the restaurant below: it has great food and operates at most hours you'll be needing eats. Hostel is in an area with lots of expats/tourists, and is very close to beach. Cons: Hostel itself doesn't really have a "vibe". The common area is pretty small and adjacent to dorms, so people just hangout in cafe. But since cafe has many non-hostel patrons, it's not as conducive to meeting people and socializing. If that is your goal, some of the other Da Nang hostels might be a...
