A wonderful hostel with a great atmosphere — comfortable, clean, and the best one we’ve stayed at so far

Great hostel, great location. beds are comfortable. Kitchen and common area is really nice. Bathrooms/ Showers are great.

Excellent luxury youth hostel. Location is fantastic with a stunning view. Facilities are great, modern and clean kitchen (never seen such a great kitchen in hostels), comfy large dining room/lounge. Great to have beds with curtains, makes a real difference. Only thing that wasn't good was the mattress...

The cowshed is beautifully located on top of a hill looking over the bay. We loved our stay. The dorms , kitchen, common area and bathrooms are clean and spacious. The Shed is a great stating points for hikes and enjoying the nature of the island . The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside were the mattresses, which were not as comfortable as we would have liked. Still we would love to come back

Easily the best hostel I've ever been. The view is spectacular, the staff is very friendly, the common area is very cozy and the bathrooms are very good. It's a great location in the island easy to go to anywhere in it. Amazing experience!

Extremely disappointing experience. Unfortunately, due to terrorism and war disrupting international travel, my dream trip/ flight from Australia was cancelled by my airline company. I’m sure the property itself is gorgeous, but travellers beware that this accomm’s bookings through HostelWorld are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances including physical impossibility. Not all highland coos are friendly it seems.

Best place to stay in Skye, feels homey and welcoming. Cozy but modern common space with tons of supplies for cooking, games, and a fireplace. Had a wonderful night meeting new friends and sharing recipes! Lovely view, right nearby all the hikes and shops and resturants. Staff are friendly, helpful, and speak many languages. Stayed in a mixed dorm room, felt safe and comfortable the whole time (all beds have curtains and lockers for extra privacy). Would definitely come back to stay in a pod!

The Cowshed was a genuinely delightful place to stay. It exceeded my expectations and they were already pretty high given how well advertised the location is. I couldn’t recommend this highly enough to other travellers.

Super clean hostel and all the staff were really nice and helpful! Definitely need a car if you’re going here but I think thats the case with most places on Skye!

Without a doubt the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Facilities were immaculate. Location is spectacular. Kitchen and hangout are were awesome.

Une auberge parfaite ! De l'intimité grâce aux rideaux au niveau de chaque lit ! La cuisine est très bien équipée, même du dépannage à la réception pour pouvoir manger. Un coin lounge/salon où on se sent comme à la maison avec le poêle à bois... Je recommande grandement !

Honnêtement, j’ai rarement vu une si belle auberge! Allez y les yeux fermés.
