Nikikot Hostel & Hotel

Not a very hostel atmosphere, we did not see a single person staying there. The listing says party hostel, but does not share that they blast music until 3am and one night had a live band playing until 1:15am and our entire room was shaking. If you want to sleep at a reasonable hour any night or meet other people wouldn't recommend staying here. Location is good and they changed our bedding/towels every day which was nice.

I stayed in 3 different hostels in Antigua. This one was the nicest. Really cozy big beds which are similar to a pod style. There was also somewhere to refill my water bottle. The only downside is when I was staying there was 3 showers but one had a broken curtain and then another didn’t work, so there was only 1 shower.

Expensive for the quality. Property details don’t share that it’s connected to a bar that stays open until 3am. The bathrooms were very small and the showers weren’t too clean. The actual bunk was clean, however my outlet didn’t work.

I struggled here and not for any of the reasons stated in other reviews. There were no loud parties and no bugs, and the staff was honestly so nice. But the dorm is horribly cramped, in terrible condition and dirty, and doubles as a supply closet/laundry drop for the housekeeping staff, who are in and out all day. I was stuffed up and coughing every night when I was there, not to mention my mattress was really slanted. I slept terribly. Awful showers, little to no hot water no water pressure.

Property itself is fine but I booked the Superior Private 5 Bed Ensuite only to check in to a room with 3 beds. The staff was completely unreasonable, going in circles saying that it was my fault because in their system it said 3 bedroom but on my booking confirmation and on hostelworld it said 5 bedroom, resulting in two people having to sleep on the floor and one person getting quite sick due to the dirty floors. I am currently in contact with the hostel and hostelworld to resolve this.

The beds in this hostel were really spacious and comfy. It wasn’t particularly clean in the showers or room though. There’s a pork restaurant attached to the hostel which mean it smells a bit like boiled pork in the day, and loud music was played at night. The staff were really nice and helpful though. I think £14 a night was way too much to pay

we only stayed one night but it wasn’t the cleanest or felt that safe. It was fine for one night and the beds were comfy, but i wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer

I really dislike posting a negative review but all I can say is that the person who took the pictures for the hostel was very creative. The dorm was dark most of the time (no natural light). The capsule bed was OK but the curtain kept falling down. Bathrooms (toilets) were ensuite (I guess you could say) but were small and not very clean. Wash sinks and showers were just barely adequate. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world and I don’t understand why this place has such bad reviews. Comfortable beds, lockers, private bed space with walls, hot showers. The only thing I didn’t like was how small the bathroom is. But overall a GREAT value!

Check-out at Hostel is 11am. Not too clean, really small toilettes. No atmosohere, common areas are a resraurant.

Un peu cher pour ce que c’est. Le dortoir est au milieu d’un bar c’est pas du tout confortable. C’était tout de même propre et le personnel était très sympa !

I stayed in the hostel dorm. Most uncomfortable bed I ever had. Could feel every spring in the mattress. No common rooms to chill, only the restaurant. Other than that fine.

This property is lying about its prices. I reserved my space for $8. Then when I arrived they said I owed them $11. Additionally, they should state even more clearly here on Hostelworld, “THIS IS A PARTY HOSTEL AND MUSIC DOESNT STOP UNTIL 3am.”

buena calidad precio, las camas no son las mas comodas pero tampoco es terrible. Se valora la privacidad, ya que las camas estan separadas por paredes. para lo que pagas es mas que aceptable. El hostel esta dentro de un hotel/restaurante, que parece de buena calidad, pero no lo llegamos a probar, el patio del restaurante es bonito, y también hay bar, habia buen ambiente, pa los que bebáis alcohol ;)

Lovely hostel with comfortable, private sleeping cabins. Very attentive staff.

small hotel/hostel slightly out of the centre but everywhere in antigua is pretty close. the private room was really nice and clean, felt quite boujee and a good option if looking for a cheapish prvite room. not much atmosphere but i was only there for one night

I actually really liked this place for the price. The beds felt very private, dark and even slightly sound proofed. The restaurant and bar attached is also super cute and they have good nachos. The only thing is the bathrooms feel fairly old/not that great, but apart from that I felt good here.
