Second Home Suites

Great hostel with a very welcoming vibe. I booked a private room which was just next door to the main hostel building. The walls were a little thin, so you could hear some noise from the neighbouring room, but it wasn't that bad. I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to Istanbul.

This is my second time in Istanbul and this is the best place I’ve stayed. It’s a private entrance with and indiviudal key, and the location is the best for all kinds of attractions. The room was clean, spacious. The bathroom is well designed and maintained well. Breakfast, dinner and activities are quiet reasonable comparing to most of the restaurants and agencies. Oh, the rooftop terrace is amazing to socialize or just to chill, grab drinks. Thanks to staff for being always kind and helpf...

Incredible hostel in Istanbul with a perfect location on the European side, just 5 minutes from tram and metro, and within walking distance of top sights. Supermarkets right down the street. The interior is beautifully decorated, with clean and well-kept rooms. The breakfast is varied, tasty, and high quality. The young staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooftop views are stunning, and dinners/activities are a great plus. I totally recommend this spotless and cozy place!

Unforgettable stay at Second Home Suites. As a Solo female Traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable (24/7 staff). Very clean, comfortable bed & bathroom. Located within 8 minute walk to all the tourist attractions: Gulhane Park, Topkapi Palace, Museums, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand & Spice Bazaar. 2 minute walk to SIRKECI Marmaray & GULHANE Tram (T1) or 7 min walk to Eminonu Ferry. It's tied to Second Home Hostel next door & I enjoyed their family Breakfast, Rooftop & Pub Crawl!

Second Home is affordable, well located and cozy place to stay in Istanbul. I have been to other hostels/guesthouses but the atmosphere is just great here! They have common areas to chill and socialize, all amenities work well. Turkish Dinner arranged by staff was yummy and quite cheap comparing the restaurants. And the room was spacious, clean, comfortable!

As a person who visits Istanbul consistently It was the best place i ve ever stayed Space was pretty big and room was clean And the other side of the coin host was extremely nice to me and gave me lots of tips about Istanbul how to stay away from scams tourist traps and showed me local spots to eat Delicious Turkish food … (Plus) no need say something about location cuz it’s located on middle of the old town So i know where to stay in Istanbul from now on !

Great hostel, very friendly staff and the pub crawl was fun!

I had an amazing stay at Second Home Hostel! The staff is super friendly and helpful with everything. The location is perfect to explore the city. There is 24/7 someone there if you need anything. The suites are really comfortable and clean. The common area is ideal for meeting new people, hang out and study/work as well. I recommand eating dinner with them - they cook the best turkish food!

The moment we walked in the staff were so lovely, made us tea, asked us about our trip and just made us feel at home. The room was clean and spacious and the rooftop and downstairs chill out area were cool and well equipped. Would highly recommend.

I felt very comfortable at Second Home! The room and the facilities were clean and the staff made sure you have everything you need. It is a great place to socialise with many activities, but since the room and common area are in two different buildings, you can still have your peace and quiet. Location is also perfect for sightseeing in Istanbul.

Literally a second home. The hostel is very lively, great for meeting people and even making friends that you'll keep for life. The staff are very kind and helpful, they welcome you with a welcome tea, explain everything about the city and answer all your questions. They do the best pub crawl I've ever been to, you can't go without dancing with them, so keep your energy up hahaha. And don't leave the hostel without having dinner with them first, the food is local and amazingly good.

If you want a good value private room, then the second home suites are perfect. The staff were also very accommodating and went out of their way to help us.

I would go back over and over again, the best of an hostel atmosphere combined with the privacy and tranquility of a private room at home. But more important, the hospitality and warm welcome of the staff. They are awesome and fill the please with their charm. Friendly staff, very clean, and in a great location.

The hostel is located right in the center, the room I stayed in was very clean and spacious. The food was delicious and the dining table was a very social environment. The staff welcomed me very warmly and made me feel like I was at home. Can't wait to go back guys! That's why I give 10 points thanks guys! See you next time!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant from the start, we were greeted and were told about everything there is to do in the city and how to best spend our time, there is a social area to have some drinks, chat and play cards, Samira took a bunch of us out on a pub crawls which was an amazing experience and have plenty of photos. Everyone was extremely friendly and created a great atmosphere, would 100% recommend and stay there again, shout-out to Samira for being such a great host 😌

Second Home Hostel is an absolute gem. The rooms were clean and comfy, making my stay super enjoyable. The hostel's central location was a major perk too. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. The social atmosphere during breakfast (5€ or 150TL) and dinner (10€ or 300TL) was awesome for meeting new people. The common areas and terrace were perfect spots to relax and socialize. The rooms felt secure, and the facilities had everything I needed. I highly recommend!

A great location and great staff who genuinely care about your stay

Only stayed one or two nights but loved the family dinner. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, great location. Would stay again.
