Family run hostel, vico and his wife were super friendly, chatty and helpful, booked us on a mount Bromo and Ijan hike with breakfast and transport. Customer service was the best I’ve had from a hostel
A Perfect Hideaway with the Loveliest Hosts I had such a peaceful and memorable stay at this hostel. It’s truly a perfect hideaway from the noise and rush of the city — quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature. The atmosphere felt like home from the moment I arrived. What made it even more special were the owners — incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
Adorable little place a bit far from city center. The host Vico and his wife are super hospitable and kind. We booked the tumpak sewu and bromo tour from here and the drivers and tour guides are extremely knowledgeable about the best times and weather conditions. Both tours went great and we got to see what we wanted while others who went later got stuck in the rain/flood or traffic. Food was great and there are places to explore around the hostel. Overall we felt very valued and taken care of.
Un magnifique séjour au sein de cet hostel. Vico et sa femme sont au petit soin et font tout pour rendre votre séjour merveilleux. Disponible, à l'écoute tout est réuni. Vico propose des packages excursions a des prix plus que raisonnable et tout est organisé aux petits soin. Tout était parfait, la maison d'hote est à 15 min du centre ville au calme. Des repas sont préparés et sont trop bon Merci Familly Vico
The owners of this hostel are very nice, however, this is not the place if you wanna have a good rest. As others have mentioned the dorm is an open structure, that allows no AC. Every bed has a small fan which is nice, but it is definitely not enough if you try to get some rest in the afternoon after the Bromo tour. The open structure also means that every noise become much louder, let it be the geccos that got in, the rooster shouting at the neighbour, or the sound of vehicles passing by.

Great hostel with very kind and helpful owners. The Bromo tour was amazing, and even if you don’t book a tour, they’re always ready to help. The hostel is open-plan, so ants may get in, but it’s generally clean. Bathroom cleanliness depends on other guests. There’s no air conditioning, so it can get hot at night, but the private room had a small fan that helped a lot. No laundry service on-site, but one is about 1 km away. Overall, a nice and quiet place to stay.
They are super nice and help you with everything. We did the 2D1N Bromo Ijen trip and everything was arranged perfectly.

Vico was an extremely kind and welcoming host making me feel at ease as soon as I walked through the doors. The hostel organised trips to both Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu waterfall for me and provided me with all the information I required. I would definitely stay here another time and hope to see Vico and his family again one day.
Lovely owners, they are such great people. Location is a bit outside of Malang but fast to reach with a scooter or grab or gojek and it's nice to be in a more quite area.
Very nice family, welcoming and helpful and they make the best Pecel! I recommend staying here and do the Bromo tour for an affordable price. Also the waterfall tour was excellent. Mantap!
I had the most amazing time here. The owners are the sweetest people and super helpful and accommodating. I did both the waterfall and the mount Bromo Tour and had a great time. A great plus is the homemade food! I recommend the fried rice. The hostel is located a bit outside of the city and provides a nice relaxing atmosphere with a garden and outside seating. Definitely worth visiting this hostel!!
Vico and his family were so welcoming and helpful with organising tours and giving great tips for Malang, it felt like we were part of their home❤️ a small hostel but a really chilled social vibe, would love to come back soon!
Great hosts and a very cosy atmosphere. We stayed in the private room and went on day trips to the waterfall and Mt Bromo. Easy to organise and you’re highly likely to share the trip with other guests from the hostel - so overall it’s a very social environment. Bare in mind it’s more like a Homestay where rooms are partitioned with thin walls, so if you’re a light sleeper it’s good to have earplugs for when the day trips leave in the early hours of the morning.
Leuk hostel en super aardig personeel. Kamer alleen wel klein, douche heeft een zachte straal en je hoort veel geluid van andere. Als je opzoek bent naar iets gezelligs is het top want het personeel is echt geweldig en doen alles voor je. Als je meer comfort zoekt zou ik iets anders aanraden. Ligt wel redelijk ver uit het centrum maar met een GoJek scooter ban je voor 10.000 Rp zo in het centrum en er zit dichtbij een lekker restaurant voor lunch, avondeten of een koffietje.
Fantastisk personal som gör allt för att du ska få den bästa möjliga vistelsen. Bra tours och jättemysig stämning. Ett av mina favorithostel främst tack vare personalen, kändes som hemma. Tack snälla!

Such a lovely stay! Definitely worth booking for the atmosphere. It’s run by a lovely family, that just want to make sure you have a great time! The Bromo trip is also incredible!
