Tata Surf Hostel

the hostel is closed (completely abandoned), I arrived there at 9 PM and I needed to find another hostel in the zone....

pour le prix ne pas s'attendre au grand Luxe. dans ma chambre la Salle de bain ne se ferme pas. pas de lockers dans les chambres. nettoyage pas au top dans les salles de bain. le staff est sympa et m'a aidé à reserver le rinjani pour un bon prix !

Établissement très sympathique avec des propriétaires adorables. Un super séjour à Kuta !

I really liked the hostel. The staff are super nice. They really helped me a lot. You can rent a scooter for just 65,000 IDR. One night is also really cheap. I would recommend it to others.

The staff was helpful always but this property needs improvement. There’s no bar on site as they advertise, the ‘common area’ is just a table or mattress on the floor next to rooms, bed was comfy but bathroom is full of mosquitoes. Lastly, the location isn’t horrible since it’s only a 10 min walk to get to the main road but the actual road to get there is rough specially when it rains, there’s many new properties being built around the hostel too so construction noise starts at 8am :...

Friendly and sweet receptionist :) The room smelled of damp, the walls were stained and crumbling, the bed pods were comfy but full of mosquitoes, and the bathrooms also smelled of drains. I didn’t have any hot water while I was there. There is construction work that begins at 8am. No kitchen but there is drinking water (hot/cold) available and tea/coffee.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this hostel is not good! It’s so hard to find, the location is wrong on hostel world, Google maps and Apple Maps. There are no signs to help and if you arrive at night there is no lights and it’s very wet and muddy. I would never have found it if it wasn’t for the help of the locals and a fellow traveler. Aim for Nena eats&sleep is my best advice. Noisy construction work, bathroom isn’t cleaned, no lockers, shuttle company to Gili tried to scam ...

Il personale è molto gentile e l’atmosfera è molto bella. Si può usufruire della piscina, acqua te e caffè. La zona è un po’ internata e se si arriva di notte si fa fatica a trovarlo (non è ben segnalato dalla strada principale e google maps ti porta in un’altra entrata), i servizi potrebbero essere migliorati, la doccia è solo con acqua fredda e i bagni sono spesso sporchi. Anche le camere, spesso ci si ritrova con oggetti e roba dimenticata per terra. Nel complesso è un buon oste...

Esta bien el hostal

ich hatte eigentlich für 5 nächte gebucht aber habe nach einer nacht in ein anderes hostel gewechselt. die Lage ist zwar nicht weit von restaurants, aber die unmittelbare umgebung vom hostel ist vermüllt. das einzige waschbecken im dorm ist mitten im zimmer, wodurch man har keine privatsphäre hat, die toilette riecht sehrunangenehm chemisch. das personal war nicht freundlich, hat mir aber zumindest 3 nächte erstattet. es gibt keinen Bereich im Hostel in dem man leute kennenlernen könnte.

Jederzeit wieder! Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Besonders in Erinnerung geblieben ist Emma. Irgendwie war ausgerechnet immer sie da, wenn ich etwas brauchte. Es war toll sie kennenzulernen 😊

definitely prepare yourself if you are coming here. it is a bit hard to find, and there is a long, muddy road that is almost impossible to get thru without a bike. even then, you'll have mud even covering your legs, and its extremely unsanitary, trash everywhere. i understand the hostel itself is new- but that doesnt mean there should be bugs all in the sink, mosquitos all in my bed and the shower, and dirt covering the whole hostel. there are cats here which are so cute, but they are poorly tr...

The rooms and beds are super comfy and even for a dorm everything is quite private. The hostel is small so easy to meet people. Just lacking a little atmosphere, no music or activities. That’s ok tho, nice if looking for quiet. Also if you’re not keen on cats or if you don’t wanna trek thru the mud during wet season than might not be your fave spot. Staff was super helpful to organize surfing lessons and location is a ~8 min walk to the main strip of town. Worth the value of the price I’...

Tata Surf seems a relatively new hostel! The staff are lovely and will go out their way to help you! One of the comfiest beds I’ve had whilst travelling. Not too much comfy areas to socialise was the only downsides but definitely a lovely place and a little bit off the main road so it’s nice and quiet!

Nice cozy hostel which you can meet people easily, had a nice stay everything was perfect except the entrance was muddy and there were construction work along the, even google maps give you wrong location, but if you have a scooter not an issue unless you walk

very good hostel, very clean and nice people around, unfortunately its located in the middle of a construction area and especially when its rainy the street there is very muddy and even with a scooter its kind of hard to get there, will sure be better in a few months, when the construction stuff is done

I loved staying hereand extended my stay. The rooms offer privacy due to curtains. The shower was separate from the toilet which is practical in a dorm. The staff was amazing: Super friendly, welcoming and helpful. And I met nice people in the common area, because the atmosphere is amazing. Also with the little baby cats. I will be back! Only little thing on the way to perfect was the neatness of the sink in the room and the pool. Anyways Thanks for everything!

I ended up staying for a week and it was a great base to stay in kuta, nice chill vibe there and I met a lot of great people. it helps that it's a small hostel so it's easy to meet people. friendly staff. only improvement is a bit of extra cleaning could go a long way, they didn't clean the sink once whilst I was there and there was a lot of empty plastic bottles everywhere so just seemed really messy. also would be nice to get some mugs for tea instead of tiny plastic cups that seemed wasteful.
