The BEST hostel I have ever stayed at. Honestly didn’t want to leave, so clean, comfy and friendly. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.
The rooms were a little stuffy but very comfy bed
Best hostel in the buiss for a reason
best hostel i’ve ever stayed in, private yet social, the best of both worlds!!!
Probably the fanciest hostel that I've been to facilities-wise. Free beer hour was a great way to meet people.
L’hostel est bien situé dans le centre de Tokyo, mais il n’y a pas d’ambiance, ou alors très aseptisée. Les toilettes mériteraient d’être plus souvent nettoyées
Its the most comfortable hostel bed/pod i think to ever have existed. Imo location probably doesnt get much better, and social scene is super easy with the free beer hour. If its in your budget I definitely recommend
This is the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Felt like a hotel in a lot of ways - free towels, slippers, coffee, amenities. I stayed on the female only floor and had good, undisturbed sleeps for the duration of my stay. Good location - on a busy shopping street but this means theres plenty of places to eat close by and has good links to other parts of the city. Not particularly social as many people seem to work remotely here, but it’s good value for money & I would definitely stay here ag...
Best hostel I ever stayed at honestly. Incredibly clean and private AND incredibly social. Usually you have to choose between those two lol. The only thing I’d improve is honestly the pull down curtains can be a bit finicky sometimes. I would personally prefer just a normal curtain.
The best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms were spotless everyday & look so nice in general. The beds were actually comfy & I loved how they reclined up/down. You can set an alarm on the iPod to turn the light on & recline your bed up to wake you up, it was so cool. The free beer everynight brought everyone together & I made lots of friends! The location is so central for walking to many places. They give you a ton of free stuff too if you need it (toothbrush, slippers, tissues, etc)
Great hostel with train station within 5 mins of walking. Also, located right in the heart of the city
It's true what they say: this will probably be the best hostel you'll stay at in Japan (or in your life). It's a smart concept and phenomenally well run and maintained. It strikes a nice balance of respite and connection, with the evening happy hour wonderfully effective of meeting new people. The only thing that could have worked better is a faster elevator, but hey, nobody's perfect.
In terms of facilities and environment this is the beat hostel I have ever stayed at. The pods are comfy and secluded and along with the bathrooms and common areas it was absolutely spotless!Having the free beer in the evening is a good way to meet people and it creates a welcoming environment to socialise, would highly recommend.
This hostel honestly felt like a luxury hostel. The facilities were amazing, beds comfy and fancy with your own space. Bathrooms and showers were clean, I think they were cleaned daily. Common area was amazing with free coffee and free beer hour was great for socialising. Location was great. The only thing was it was pretty hot at night as they had the heater blasting through the entire hostel with no way to turn it down and it was dark all the time in the room.
Everyone has a large double bed for themselves with a storage room inside the capsule. Below your bed there is an extendable platform where you can put your suitcase on and in addition a small sized locker. Next to the reception there is a large common space room with many seating options and a large kitchen that can be used. Everything is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can also rend a workspace there and it is easy to get in contact with other travelers.
Was the best Hostel i ever booked. Especially the Free Beer Hour was amazing to meet other travellers.
It was a convenient location as it was near the metro with great connections to Nara and Osaka. The surrounding area was busy but the inside of the dorms were peaceful which was great. I would definitely revisit if I returned to Kyoto.
The pods you slept in were really cool. It's almost like having your own tiny private room which made a nice change with plenty of storage space. You get free beer between 5:30 and 6:30 which makes the place really social and great for making friends, I met so so many people! Staff were fine, but not especially welcoming or friendly, just doing their jobs. Only one washing machine is shared per floor which means it can be difficult to access as there are lots of people on each floor. I recommend
One of the best hostel I’ve ever been. Great location, great facilities and a very good common area to meet other travelers and drink the free beer that the hostel provides every afternoon!
Super solid hostel. Free beer hour was a great way to meet people and socialize. Probably the best and most clean facilities I’ve ever seen for a Hostel
