Super chill spot Merci…
I had the best time here, one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. the staff and the people here are amazing definitely worth the money.
Butterfly Valley is the perfect getaway! The tent was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly! We hiked to a small waterfall (wasn't much of a waterfall because there hasn't been much rain but still beautiful), swam and did yoga with Beste. We had a blast on our short stay and would love to return someday
Das Essen war sehr lecker und viel, das Zelt am Strand mit Blick auf das Meer traumhaft. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.
Brilliant location, however I felt the stay was completely ruined due to the rude reception staff. There weren't really any activities planned for guests, most of which you had to pay at an additional cost. Throughout the daytime noisy and annoying boat trips come and go making the place lose it's tranquility.
The beach is gorgeous, and the valley is as magical as they say. The staff is amazing, and so is the food. The tents are HOT in the middle of summer, but clean and secure. It is camping, and there are animals out and about (chickens, dogs, goats). Bring water shoes, beach towels, and snacks. The food and drinks outside the meal package are expensive, but good. Overall, worth the experience and great vibes for a quick beach camping trip. Perfect for the early fall or spring, I would visit again!
Loved our stay in butterfly valley! The workers and volunteers are so welcoming, food provided was amazing. Will definitely be back
Awesome stay. Felt like was staying in a movie. Live DJ set perfect place for backpackers. It’s a must do if your in Turkey.
I would honestly come back to Türkiye just to have another night here. Although it sounds cliche, this valley truly felt magical. You can hike back to a waterfall, kayak around the bay, snorkel, do morning yoga, or just chill. The sound of the waves is also so incredibly relaxing. Not to mention, the food is some of the best I’ve had in the country!!! Incredible value, I seriously think this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my life. If you’re debating booking, just do it!!!
The Butterfly Valley itself is beautiful & we were there just before high season, so there were few people, which was great. Our tent was lovely, large, with clean linen & a stunning sea view. Our disappointment came in the poor cleanliness of the area with plastic, rubble & building material all over. Considering the few guests on the island, I could not understand the poor state & filth of the bathrooms & toilets. The meals provided were also overpriced & sub standard.
Absolutely LOVED it here!!! Things I wish I knew before coming though is that it would be more on the expensive side for the lunches that aren’t included, and also alcohol is VERY expensive 23 Australian Dollars for a vodka drink (one bar double shotted, one didn’t). I would say bring your own alcohol if you want to drink and just chin the cost of lunch! Also activities like paddle boarding you have to pay for and isn’t included! Food was INCREDIBLE, scenery was INSANE! 10/10 recommend...
This place has SO much potential, but it’s just not there right now. Save your money- do a day trip. We were told the food package wasn’t optional as per Hostelworld, it’s compulsory. We were basically forced and judged into buying it even though I was unwell and ate 2 bites. Staff were constantly arguing with guests. The only one to treat us with kindness was the man with a bandaged face. Then we were told to ‘just move’ by a staff member as apparently we were in the wrong tents. Stra...
Lovely location, great tents, surprisingly clean bathrooms, awesome food every day. From 11-5 the beach gets cruise boats all day and it gets very busy and loud but having the place to yourself in the morning and all evening and night more than makes up for it. The sunrise and sunsets are incredible.
Great location ~ Terrible Customer Service. And opportunities to be more eco-tourism with plastic waters bottles at 20 lira each for 500ml (only size avail) Good food however this is not inc in price and is 15€ on top of the price of the tent. Also tea at dinner is 20 lira extra. I am challenged by The price paired with the service I received during my stay didn’t leave me with a positive experience of the management of Butterfly Valley. There was a constant awkward vibe. Where I didn’t...
My stay here was truly magical! To get to the beach the boat cost $20AUD (return) which was advertised wrong and once we got there the vibes was more a retreat than a hostel. It’s also compulsory that you pay extra for dinner and breakfast which also wasn’t advertised but it’s buffet so definitely worth it! We did morning yoga. The tents get extremely hot during the day and do get infested with ants so just be prepared. Overall the staff are very helpful and super lovely, definitely someth...
Overall we enjoyed our stay - the beach and water is absolutely beautiful, the provided breakfast and dinners (at additional cost on arrival of 15€ each per day) were great and the tents were cool. Just a few things to be aware of - the price of the shuttle boat was 100TL more than what we were told and the staff weren’t overly welcoming, although shoutout to Ahmet and Lily as they were very kind and friendly. The beach gets quite busy and loud with party boats that dock for the day and the ...
Lovely valley but it seemed like everything was quite overpriced, for what you get and they only sell mini bottles of water which really adds up if you are there for a few days. Overall nice and recommend staying as it quietens down at night and in the morning.
Wonderfully rich in history but a relic of its former self. No longer a backpacking destination but rather a place for domestic tourists and families to camp. Still somewhat worth the visit but would t recommend going by yourself
