Hostal Providencia

Amazing hostel with great vibes and very friendly staff. The 2 patios, the lounge etc. are amazing! I did a tour they recommended and I was able to use a guitar - all in all, I had an amazing time there :) only negative point, the water in the shower took quite some time to heat up several times so I had to take a cold shower, but other times they worked fine. Will stay here again soon!

Overall ok hostel, but not very clean and very cold. All the staff couldn’t answer my questions and there weren’t a lot of people so no atmosphere.

the rooms are big, but there are no curtains in the room and no shelf near the bed. the bathrooms were dirty

Really good party hostel with nice events especially on weekends, very welcoming hosts, additional 4k for a big breakfast. Did not enjoy being awaken by the cleaning staff talking very loud after the party nights, and the water on the floor in the bathroom because of the previous guests, but it's cleaned regularly. The outside space is cute and also gets people together. Providencia area is quite safe and convenient for Lastarria/clubs/cerro santa lucia. The kitchen is fine, room for food

Großes Hostal, sauber, wifi im 4. Stock nicht so gut. Einfaches Frühstück, hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit Bad- Preis war okay. Hilfsbereites Personal zum Plaza de Armas ca. 30 Gehminuten. Mir fehlte etwas Vibe im Hostal .

Big hostel that is generally well organised, cleanliness was fine, breakfast fully within expectations. However, there is no option to put personal stuff such as phone, earpods, water etc. by the bed (like a little shelf); also the showers did not have an option to put stuff and some of the fittings were rusty. A hostel this size could also provide hand towels in the toilets as a courtesy.

Good, was a decent vibe for Santiago I think this is probably the best bet, not a huge selections of hostels.

Highly recommend. Stayed here a couple of times now and great spot to meet people and get a feeling for santiago.

Great location, close to parks, metro station and museums. Lots of different nooks to use in the hostel. Met friendly and respectful travellers there. The paid breakfast is fine. The staff communicated really well and answered all my questions.

Very nice hostel! Super clean, there are a lot of bathrooms and the shared garden is perfect for meeting people. Mattras was good and breakfast is extensive.

Decent hostel. Close to a lot of things in Santiago. Although the area can be a little sketchy. The beds are comfortable and there are are a lot of places to sit down in the hostel. The kitchen could use some more equipment.

O hostel é bom mas não tem nada demais. Não é muito fácil socializar já que não fazem muitas atividades nem incentivam a socialização. As camas não tem cortina, o que pra mim é um ponto negativo, mas não é inaceitável, coloquei minha toalha presa na cama de cima e consegui alguma privacidade. O espaço em si é bem grande, com duas cozinhas, múltiplos banheiros. Bons chuveiros com água quente e pressão boa. O café da manhã é muito bom. A localização é boa também, pert...

What a party hostel ! Besides these really good memories I’d like to thank the staff which is super nice and competent. Dorms are ok, bathrooms could be better but worth the price. Didn’t used the kitchen though but seems good too. I’d recommend for a quick stay and if you want to party :)
