Comfortable beds, good staff. shower was freezing and they could do with having curtains

Great staff and location, quiet but very near everything in the Lastarria neighborhood!

The location of this place is great and for a reasonable price. They do a breakfast but for a small fee so I made my own. Kitchen is very small - they probably rely on most people eating lunch and dinner out in the city. My dorm was in a dark corner next to the stairs - the window didn’t open so no air flow which kept the room smelling musty and of B.O and dirty laundry. Bathrooms are clean but annoyingly there was always a bad drain smell. This may just be a general hostel thing though.

Really nice hostel with a cozy and social atmosphere. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfy!

All you need for a very fair price. Dorms vary a lot.

Das Hostel ist sehr gut nahe einer Metrostation gelegen. Auch zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten waren es maximal 15 Minuten Fussweg. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich habe mich immer sicher gefühlt. Das Bett war okay, sobald sich die andere Person umgedreht hat, hat das Bett schon recht viel geknarzt. Zu dem Zeitpunkt wo ich da war, war es nicht sonderlich social.

Nicht buchen!! Die guten Bewertungen sind nicht die Realität! Trotz günstigem Preis ist das Hostel schrecklich! Eiskalte Duschen, kein warmes Wasser, keine Heizung, sehr kalte Zimmer. Küche existiert nicht, Kühlschrank verschimmelt und aus, Mikrowelle defekt. Frühstück minimal, mit Ameisen im Zucker und oft verspätet. Türen schließen nicht, Wertsachen unsicher, Besitzerin selten da, arrogant und unfreundlich. Rezeption unbesetzt. Am Ende wollte sie extra Geld für Decken aus dem gebucht...

This hostel is located in the perfect place for a trip to Santiago. It feels safe and really easy to get to everything. Staff were nice and helpful and I appreciated the 24 hour security. Breakfast is good.

10!!!! Loved Hostal Forestal. Had a stressful 24 hrs of travelling and the guy at reception was absolutely a gem. So grateful for this hostel!

In a nice area in Santiago. It’s a quieter hostel with limited communal space, so wouldn’t be right if people are searching for more a more social spot.

Very nice stay, well located and a close walk to many desirable locations within Santiago. The atmosphere felt average, nice rooms and good bathrooms.
