Burlington Hostel

Nice spot but my bed area wreacked on the typical Fubuloso so common in hostels and places that cater to a certain crowd.

Great spot for a reasonable walk to USC. Quiet, clean, and clear instructions for a good night’s sleep.

Thank God I only stayed for 6 hours, they have bed bugs, smh..

This is a good hostel, more like a guest house with 4 dormitories which have the same sort of comfort as one's own room. It's fairly well-located in the Pico-Union area about 1/2 hour walk south-west of Downtown, in a spacious wood-floored two-storey mansion with all the features of such a residence: a good kitchen, excellent bathrooms, and a large backyard. It has the feel of a small community, and is a very pleasant place to rest in wonderful L.A. Plenty of A.C.; Wifi is adequate.

Nasty and not clean, it was a smell of cat pee in the whole house, the floors was dirty and “sticky”. The bathroom was not clean and there was pee on the floor. We didn’t feel like the area around the hostel was a safe place to be either.

Found Cat poop in my bed. They have a couple of cats running around the house. Hostel overall is dirty always pee on the bathroom floors

the location is sketchy and I don't think any of the doors locked because I came in around 11 pm and the doors were wide open. anyone from the street can just walk in. When you enter, the entire first floor smells like urine and the room smells like feet. the floors are sticky. there's no one to "check you in." When I went to my bed, there was a bunch of guy's clothes thrown, and a few minutes later, he came upstairs to grab his clothes without saying anything. As a girl, I will never come here.

Realmente la ubicación está a unas 3 cuadras de una estacion de buses pero la zona está llena de homless y es un poco peligroso regresar en la noche. Los baños y la limpieza estuvieron aceptables, no tenían implementos básicos en la cocina como cucharas o tazas, pienso que para mujeres solas no es tan seguro.

Für den Preis sicher gut okay. Die Küche war nicht sehr hygienisch und es gab ein paar Probleme mit der Bettenvergabe. Personal ist kaum vor Ort, was solange okay ist bis man ein Problem hat. Der Außenbereich hinten wird gerade ausgebaut, dass könnte was Gutes werden. Insgesamt aber schon okay für den kleinen Geldbeutel, wenn man nicht die größten Ansprüche hat

Good place, but it was full of cobwebs on windows and some spaces just unkept. It’s good for the money if you need a bed only.

Aucun verrouillage nul part, casier, porte, très sale, nettoyé une fois a mok départ, c'est moi qui passait le balais une fois, mettait le papier dans les WC. Le personnel ma volé et ne prenne pas la responsabilité. Et ne veulent pas me rendre mes affaires ni compensation. J'attends donc une compensation pour racheter ce qu'on m'a volé !

For the price point I really can’t complain. The place feels secure enough the the staff are good at communicating before you get there about what you need. If you need a cheap place to stay. This is a good spot. The lockers can hold a backpack but not more outside of that.

Overall was a good stay. Pros: female dorm has 4 beds so it was relatively quiet, the female dorm has a tiny dresser and locker space so I unpacked some clothes, all the amenities I needed were available, great front yard, big property Cons: so many men staying there they made me feel a little uncomfortable, main worker seemed stressed out and probably not paid enough for what they were doing, dorm was dark even in day, I don’t like turf and they had that in the front yard but I understand wh...

It was unclean. Smelling is really bad. We had booked 4 nights but could only stay for one night and we had to leave. They wouldn’t pay anything back. Choose another hostel for better experience in LA

The plan was to stay at Burlington for four nights, but we checked out the day after we arrived. We just could not stay in that house. The rooms smelled awfull, and the whole house was just so badly cleaned and groose. We asked if there was a change just to pay for that only night, but they denied.
