Très serein et paisible. Propre et calme
just perfect for what i needed... will definitely be back.
Great stay at Ballyeamon Barn, I had some good chats and enjoyed learning about some history about the local area.
Fantastic place to stay! warm, welcoming, clean and everything you need. Thank you! ☺️
I had a wonderful time with Liz and Rhoda. I wish them all the best. And I‘ll definitely return to walk, read and relax.
If I could give more than 10 stars I would. Thank you Liz for such an fabulous stay! I can't wait to visit again.
A very friendly and welcoming hostel, in beautiful location
Liz had terrific staff helping out even though she was recovering from two (!) broken arms. This was such a relaxing place to stay, and the hiking nearby was absolutely stunning. One of our favorite stops in a full circumnavigation of Ireland. We were there for a Saturday evening session and that was really special too. I highly recommend the Barn!
Liz was wonderful , generous and friendly. As was Rhoda who stays with her quite frequently. Lovely welcoming atmosphere
Liz is what makes this hostel a home. Such a warm genuine character and a pleasure to meet passing through the Glens on my bike. Lovely shared kitchen space.
Liz is a warm and generous host! She helped me with transportation, offered laundry services, and gave me advice for different walks in the area. The waterfall hike and views of the sea were magical. The location is rural but walkable to hikes and a bus that runs into town several times a day- probably best to buy groceries ahead of time if you don’t have a car.
Liz is an amazing host. Very lively, friendly, exceedingly helpful and generous. The apartment upstairs was quite spacious, especially compared to my previous nights in a tiny cubicle of a room. Kitchen cozy and welcoming. We had a wonderful hike through Glenariff Forest Park right from the front gate. Would gladly book here again on any future trip to NI.
Want a wonderful place with wonderful, interesting and individuel people! Thank you for a very inspiring stay Helene & Louisa
Really enjoyed my one night's stay, very comfortable and relaxed accommodation. Very homely, the owner Luz is very welcoming. Beautiful views ❤️I'll be back 👏🙌🙏
I had a lovely time at the hostel. Liz is a very accommodating and kind hostess. The dorms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and the ambiance is so warm. I recommend 100%.
Liz is an absolutely wonderful host. The location and comfort were also excellent. A special mention for the bedding, which is particularly comfortable. This is without doubt one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in Ireland.
I had an incredible time with Liz at the barn! I'm happy to have been in the right place at the right time! Great views, great story-telling evenings with wonderful people. Liz is very friendly, personable, very helpful and a great host! Thank you for the unforgettable time!
It was a nice place to stay in a rural setting that was very convenient to Trostan Mountain, the highest in Co. Antrim, which I planned to climb. It is also only ten minutes from Cushendall village.989 Liz was very welcoming and looked after us very well. The only issue was that there appeared to be no signal or signal box for the TV.
Extraordinary place, beautiful surroundings and a staff that is second to none. Liz is a gracious host and I could not have asked for anything nicer.
