Cute quaint clean. Great AC nice dipping pool. Beds were quite hard, besides that Mike and his family were all very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend…
This is not a hostel, it is a hotel. The hotel is very nice, the AC is great. The hotel sits away from the ocean and faces the lagoon, which gives an amazing view of the sunset. Being away from the "beach" makes it a little quieter. My one issue was that the walls were very thin and I could hear people at around 23:30 having conversations on the pool deck, which is out of the control of the hotel. The owner was lovely and gave me a recommendation for a tour company with whom to go diving. Great ...
I feel this is budget friendly for a backpacker but I wouldn't stay here over one night. The bed was thin and hardly cushioned. The bathroom was super small with a makeshift shower head . There was no safe to lock my items and the restaurant there was closed for my whole stay kf 2 days. On the good side the staff was friendly and the air conditioning was strong.
Budget room, but very clean. Strong AC and hot water (tip for anyone not used to the three taps, hot is left, cold is right, middle on/off). The location is very central, more than I imagined it would be when I booked. Great sunset views from the terrace. Cute pool area. Peaceful nights sleep. I visited in low season and the other guests that I encountered were mostly older American travellers, rather than young backpackers, but this tended to be in line with who was in the bars, restaurants too
Preis Leistung stimmt, super freundliches Personal. Alles in allem für den Preis wirklich top.
Bit expensive but only place that had availability. Nice private rooms close to every thing in town
Lovely.rooms small but fine.pool a big plus.location great.so is the staff. Couldn't ask for more for the price. Would definitely recommend it.
This is a small family oriented facility but is beautiful and cozy if you want to be in the center of San Pedro. There is a restaurant in the facility that serves breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. Of foremost importance is the cleanliness and the rooms and they are kept very clean. Friendly staff that offered tour suggestions and will help you book the tours and make recommendations when asked. Overall I was very happy with my choice.
Not a major backpacker spot but nice if you’re looking for a private room. The host is super helpful.
Mike (the owner) and his wife were very friendly and have created a very comfortable little oasis in the sometimes chaotic downtown San Pedro. It was evident that they have a lot of pride for this place. The central courtyard and pool area were constantly maintained, and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are budget focused, so they mechanically were a bit rough (chipped paint, broken window shutters) but were extremely clean. We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend.
Pros: -Great location (right downtown and AMAZING sunset view from just behind the property) - felt very safe - gorgeous property w/ nice pool - owner is a very nice guy -on site restaurant has amazing breakfast (didn’t try their lunch menu but it is available) Cons: - Toilet didn’t flush 50% of the time -Internet infrequently reached our room and not at all at night. Had to use the wifi at restaurants to answer emails, text home etc -Had to SLAM bathroom door for it to shut.
This hotel has been open for a while but is new to hostel world. I loved this place, I had a single room, it was clean, nice shower with good pressure and temperature and the AC was really good! The owner was also very welcoming and helpful, the pool was good, WiFi worked, I really can't complain. 3-5 min walk from the ferry stations, shops and restaurants. Would happy stay here again!
