Hostal Irreal

Le prix convenu était de 38,52 pesos chilien et un mail de confirmation de website nous est parvenu, courrier datant du 29 mai 2023.. Le responsable de l'hostal s'est aperçu de l'erreur de tarif puisque ce tarif était le prix pour une personne. Il a annulé la réservation en nous envoyant un mail jamais reçu. Nous avons versé 5,66€ de pré-réservation qui ne nous a pas été remboursé. Le 19 juin, nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel avec nos bagages pour apprendre que rien n'etait rés...

El staff es una sola persona, un señor de avanzada edad (75-85), quien hace todo (no hay nadie más). Te imaginas el nivel de stress. Al llegar me pidió que me fuera a la calle porque llegue 4 horas antes del check-in, y me fui porque me cobró 7 dólares diarios adicionales, por conectar mi laptop. Una vez me preguntó si yo había "dejado la cagada en la cocina" (había un tallarín que cayó por descuido), y al irme me acosó por WhatsApp por un cable que no encuentra. Un desastre de hos...

Great location… clean, friendly…

Most issues stem from the listing being a complete lie. No access to kitchen or communal areas. Check in was confirmed as 10am but wouldn’t let us check in until 2pm and no access to a bathroom unless we paid for a half day for “early access”. Only hostel I’ve ever stayed at that wouldn’t let us hang around until check in. Internet either didn’t work or was incredibly slow. Owner was incredibly difficult.

We only stayed one night at the hostel and left quite early at 4 in the morning for our flight. The Hostel Staff was really nice and helped us booking a Transvip Taxi for the night and even got up to check everything went good. Sadly there is a bar in one of the houses next door and they had loud music until 1 in the morning.
