The Capsule Hotel

Lovely place to stay alone, own private space and decent facilities!

Great location. The facilities were fine.

The website over promises. Expected an updated capsule hotel, but it’s really a hostel with pod beds with roll down privacy curtains. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean, but the facilities are past their prime. It’s as I would have expected for the price and location, but the website looked nicer.

A little bit on the expensive side of things, considering the amount of beds in a room - However the location is perfect, and the design for the beds is cool. Very happy with it.

Comfy clean bed but terrible atmosphere.

This was one of the worst Hostels I’ve ever stayed in. They did not have any hot water my entire 5 day stay and when I complained about it I was told that there was indeed hot water. I sent an email hoping for a refund and I was met with we do have hot water, this was never reported to us, etc etc. I reported it twice to staff. Save your money and your sanity and don’t stay here. Just a weird hostel, there’s no kitchen and the staff are there for a limited amount of time each day.

Mostly older male guests, and the place had a strange, unpleasant smell. There was a nightclub on the floor below with the same entrance as the hostel, which made the nights extremely loud. Although the locks were good, a guest had his wallet stolen during our stay, so it did not feel very safe. There were cockroaches in the kitchen, no secure luggage storage, and overall the stay was uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here.

Perfect for an overnight stay! The pods themselves are super comfortable with all the amenities for a good night’s sleep. Location is prime, only a 5 minute walk to Museum Station for easy airport access. Thankful that the lift still operates as well! If staying longer keep in mind that the rooms and kitchen spaces are a bit small and there aren’t a ton of bathrooms! Also right above a bar, but thankfully couldn’t hear anything.

Money well spent. Loved the Capsule bed. It was really handy as I could lock the Blind that you pull down. So I felt safe and secure. The bar below is handy too, though the staff are a bit unfriendly. So I went somewhere else halfway through. An amenity kit was given to me as I checked in which had shampoo and conditioner as well as a tooth brush and tooth paste. Booked another Hostel for the next night which was close by and that was appalling so I will definitely return to the Capsule Hoste...
