Amazing location and helpful staff. The property itself needs some major updating and better upkeep.

The location was great. The staff only spoke Turkish which made things challenging, but otherwise they were nice.

I can't say anything bad or good. it's located well and you have a bed with a stair to the en-suite bathroom.My first experience with Hostels.

Beautiful hotel in an old house in Alsancak. Room was very cozy. Location is ideal, 5 minute walk from the bustling nightlife but the block of the hostel is fairly quiet (I slept fine with the window open). Maybe 10 minute walk to the waterfront or to the Alsancak metro station. Highly recommend.

Peaceful place, the host is amazing and the area is so nice! Close to tram and bus stations! Rooms are also great! Really comfortable rooms.

Batuhan was an amazing host! He made it feel like a second home.

The landlord is very friendly and enthusiastic. The accommodation experience in the hostel is very good, very clean, and overall very good.

My dad and I had a lovely stay at this hotel in İzmir. The location was perfect—just a short walk from Kıbrıs Şehitleri Caddesi, the seaside, and Alsancak Train Station, which made getting around the city really easy. The staff were all very polite and helpful. During our stay, we also visited Zeynel Ergin Gevrek Fırını to try their famous boyoz—highly recommended if you're in the area! Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with genuinely kind service.

Dormitorio con muy poca iluminación eléctrica, La sala de baño necesita una división entre la ducha y el resto., lavabo minúsculo. Puntos positivos : el propietario es muy amable, la habitación muy limpia, la casa es antigua y acogedora. El hotel está cerca de restaurantes y comercios y muy cerca del mar.

I enjoyed my stay here. Mr Bener was very friendly. I liked my room a lot . Location was perfect . 1 minute to the main street.. of course the building is old but this is what makes it authentic also..

I was unable to inform the staff before I checked out b/c I abandoned my room quite quickly for a nearby hotel after realizing it had bedbugs (One of the top floor rooms. Woke up with bites, after checking found telltale rust stains on the mattress) Would have informed them via email, but there is option to contact them this way The other unfortunate aspect of the hostel is the noise, which I was prepared for after seeing note of it in other comments, but it was so much worse than expected

Good place , the room is very small but cozy and clean . The shower was uncomfortable and very small, and no hooks to hang the clothes . The location is very good, close to the central pedestrian street, cafes and bars , and railway station . The staff was very friendly and passionate , I got issues with my payment by card , and they kindly checked me in while I was transferring my money to different bank , and came back to pay after a few hours .

The hostel is directly in the lovely area of Izmir. We had a top floor room with a terrace. The room was small but adequate only there should be more places to hang up things like towels. The bed was very comfy. The building is facing a night club which plays loud music on Tue, Thur, Fri and Sat until 01.00. The whole area is full of pubs and restaurants and has a great vibe. The guy who runs the place and who is a uni student was very kind and eager to help. We had a very pleasant stay...

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel owner was very helpful and had good tips. You feel like at home. We can highly recommend it and would love to come again.

Our room was cool, quiet and clean, with a comfy bed and a good shower. WiFi works well. The owner and host was very friendly, helpful and easy-going.

Laguna House Hotel is a quirky hotel based in the heart of Izmir's buzzing old Alsancak, it was a perfect location full of bars and restaurants and was extremely cheap compared to Istanbul. We stayed for two nights, the hotel owner is extremely friendly. For us it was a 10 out of 10, would definitely return.

Great hostel, the most friendly owner in a central location. Really beautiful inside and clean. Totally worth it.
