Hard to know if São Paulo has much of a backpacking scene but this hostel had no vibe at all. The staff had zero English and there was no attempt to integrate travellers. I’m not sure if there was anyone else staying there at the same time. The dorms looked prison like with unfinished concrete etc.
The facility was okay. I was lucky to be alone in a 4-person room - I think it would be prohibitively small otherwise. Now, this hostel has the worst atmosphere I've seen in the last 3 years, possibly ever. The all-female staff (and owners) exhibit huge passive-aggressive cancel culture. They will literally talk about you in front of you, as if you're not there. They will stare you in the eyes, but when you say hello they just turn away as if you don't exist. And I'm sure they do it on purpose, ...
They had bed bugs and overall the room, bathroom and bed sheets were dirty. It’s really not acceptable and if you want to stay after check out in the facility you have to pay an additional fee.
Quiet hostel, nice for a few nights. The private room was spacious and with private bathroom. No atmosphere though, we didn't see anyone outside the volunteers.
Fairly ok and basic hostel, but not very clean. There were no bowls for cereal and we were only given one key card for three people. Stains on the bedding and the kitchen was not kept very clean
Good facilities. A little walk out from the strip but this hostel was much cheaper than any ones closer to the bars. Nice vibe of people. Well equipped kitchen
Only stayed one night. Really disliked the place. Not clean and I just felt incredibly uncomfortable although the staff were kind
Yesterday, I accidentally ate watermelon from a cutting board that had been soaked in chlorine. It had been left out in the kitchen without any warning sign, and I didn’t realize it had chemicals on it. As a result, I developed severe throat pain, which felt like a reaction to the chlorine exposure. Despite informing the accommodation about what happened, no one offered me any medicine or even a partial refund for the inconvenience. I was left to deal with the symptoms on my own, even thoug...
Só achei um pouco longe do metrô...de resto tudo otimo
Ótimo hostel, muito organizado! Ótima equipe!
Mould in the Dorms. Dirty Sheets.
The location is a 20min inclineld walk to the bars. 10min walk inclined to busesVery clean, beds are very comfortable. The staff is not friendly nor helpful. The majority of guests are the staff They prioritize themselves over all guests. When you are cooking they will strongarm you into moving. You can not use the movie/game room becsuse they always occupy it. Dont bother trying to be social becsuse their bubble creates an awkward. Charge for baggage storage. Charge for early check in
O quarto é bem bom, banheiro limpo e chuveiro bom! Mas recomendo super e voltaria me hospedar.
It was good for a night
Only stayed one night but good nice location
Top and duda is so kind !!!!
Uma das melhores acomodações que eu já fiquei levando em consideração que eu só fico em hostel. Os voluntários foram incríveis e atenderam todas as minhas demandas, o quarto era ótimo e bastante espaçoso. Recomendo.
The hostel is in a really good location, only 20 min walk from Pinheiros and Villa Madalena. The room is very basic and a little tired but it served its purpose for our stay! The hostel seems to be pretty Portuguese orientated so just keep that in mind if you don’t speak any Portuguese. The kitchen was a good space and stocked well with crockery and utensils. Tip: you don’t need any more than 3 nights in São Paulo and I recommend doing the Free Walking Tours in the city!
good location and some really nice receptionists. However some areas are dirty such as the bed as well as bathroom not being cleaned(realised as the toilet paper wasnt being topped)
