UROS ARUMA URO LODGE

The most amazing accommodation so far in south america for us. Definitely on the pricy side- but was a lovely halfway point of our travels. Really clean, Juan and Elsa were so lovely, the food was extra but so so delicious. We had many activities Included which were so fun! I can’t recommend staying here enough. It was so so fantastic, the views were absolutely breathtaking. We had limited signal so bring things to keep you entertained, but just sitting outside for a while is entertaining enou...

Once-in-a-lifetime experience! Juan, Elsa, and their family were excellent hosts. Juan took me out on his boat to set out fishing nets and tell me a lot olabout the Uros way of life. The morning I stayed also happened to be a cultural holiday commemorating the founders of the Inca Empire emerging from Lake Titikaka. The reenactment started on the Uros Islands, with a procession of boats to Puno. Juan and Elsa let me tag along with them in their boat to watch the festivities. Unforgettable!

Séjour sur l'île flottante juste parfait. Un accueil chaleureux, des repas excellents et un cadre idyllique. Dormir sur le lac est une expérience à vivre ! De plus, l'hôte prend le temps pour nous offrir un tour en barque traditionnelle et nous expliquer le mode de vie local. Très belle expérience

This lodge is great for a unique and calm experience. The lodge is owned by a family which is really welcoming and warm. They showed us around the lake and told us about their community. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was really tasty. We liked staying there and recommend it ☺️

I had an amazing time with Juan and his family. First I only wanted to stay for one night but I prolonged my stay to see another amazing sunset.Ever yone was super friendly, the rooms were beautiful and super clean and the excursions with the boat were the cherry on top. I can't recommend staying here enough! thanks for this amazing experience!

Absolutely unique experience! We loved our stay at Aruma Lodge! Everything was well organised: Pick up and drop off by boat at the harbour as well as activities during the day. The food was delicious and the whole family was lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed the sunset at Titicaca Lake and spend our time kayaking (included). We also got a private tour around the community of the Uros and a boat ride on a traditional totora boat (also included!) All in all an amazing experience!

I had an absolutely incredible visit here! The hosts are incredibly kind and gracious! The location was perfect, stunning, and impeccably clean! 10/10 would recommend!

You will not regret booking at Uros Aruma auto. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. Yes it was a splurge but when you consider all meals are included. It’s not bad. We were shown such kindness and the staff were very helpful. Not a party atmosphere but a tranquil experience with memories that last a lifetime.

Very nice experience!! Everyone there is nice and they make sure everything is ok. The only thing is that it was a little complicated to get there, i suggest you to contact them when you arrive on the first uros island of the tour to not waste time if you do not want to do the whole tour. The food was good, beds were comfortable and it was really peaceful. It was perfect after a 6 days trek in Peru.

Great family run hostel on the beautiful Lake Titicaca (the sunset was amazing). Our private room was so nice & clean and the food cooked was good (though it is additional). Kayaking & other activities available too. Get in contact with them beforehand for advice on how to arrive. Overall, highly recommend for an overnight stay to experience the Uros culture!

One of the best things I have done on my trip. Juan and his family are so welcoming, they took me fishing, showed me the islands and explained their culture. Plus you get to spend time staying on one of the islands and peacefully looking out over the water.

Incredible place to stay with an absolutely wonderful family! We had such a relaxing time sitting in the sun looking out to the lake. The optional boat ride for 5 USD each around the community was interesting and informative. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in 5 months, and the two kittens who live on the island are super friendly and cured our cat-related homesickness! We did feel the meals were a bit expensive at 14 USD each, and would like to see a cold drink included for the price.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft am See, tolle Einrichtung. Familie super nett, man fühlt sich super empfangen. War alleine auf ihrer Insel und fühlte mich sicher. Immer gerne!

Me and my husband enjoys our stay. I loved meeting the host and her family they were wonderful and we enjoyed learning from them and seeing what they do!

This was one of my all time favourite places to stay. The family that owns and runs the island couldn't be kinder or more welcoming. The rooms are super comfortable and clean not to mention have the most beautiful views of the lake. The food was delicious! Couldn't recommend this place enough. 👌

A truly wonderful experience for people that want to visit lake Titikaka but don’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Puno. Leonardo, Juan and their families were incredibly welcoming. It’s a great place to relax and watch the world go by.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the Uros community. The family makes sure you are comfortable and you'll get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the floating islands.

Me quedé una noche en la isla y puedo decir que me encantó mi estadía . La comida estaba rica, el ambiente tranquilo y una muy buena atención.
