Tamaya Titicaca

We had an amazing stay with Luis and his family. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and we always had hot water available. Luis went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We could book boat tours with him and kayaking. You can buy lunch and dinner for a small extra fee. The food is good. Staying with Luis was a highlight of our Peru holiday. Highly recommend!!!!

Luis is very friendly. He drove us to surf around the Uris islands and tried to explain a lot to us. Dinner is delicious. He managed to send me to the boat which I took for another tour. Thank you.

Luis was an amazing host making sure we were warm enough, providing us a lovely dinner (for extra cost) and his wife made an excellent breakfast in the morning. He sorted us a tour to taquille island and explained the history of his family and the uros islands. The room was really spacious with two big double beds, sofas and a lovely outside deck. We would happily return!

A really nice place! Luis and his wife Anna are so so kind. Luis picked us up from the harbour and showed us around the Uros Islands. It is a fascinating place. The room is big and clean and has a beautiful view. Bring some warm clothes, as it gets quite chilly during the night. Ann made us delicious pancakes for breakfast.

They were amazing. Enjoyed every minute there.

A lovely place to stay on the lake with an outdoor seating area to watch the sunset. They can provide dinner for a slight additional cost. Breakfast was lovely. The bedrooms are huge and all have a private bathroom, doesn't always have hot water. Luis was kind enough to take us out on the water to fish, learn about the reeds and showed us Uros. He showed great hospitality!

We had an unforgettable stay at Luis and his families floating island. It’s a very beautiful and peaceful apartment with a great view on the lake. Luis is very caring, took us on various boat trips, fishing expeditions, showed us his culture and how he builds the island and his house. He even invited us to a culture event which was a very authentic and happy experience. His wife cooked delicious and fresh food for us (eg. pancakes and trout). Very recommendable!!! A must for every Peru visit :...

10/10. Nunca fui tão recebida em uma acomodação. Luiz e a família foram o tempo inteiro atenciosos, cuidados e preocupados com a experiência que estavam me proporcionando. Me apresentaram a ilha, levaram para pescar, compartilharam as refeições e me trataram com muito carinho. Mais do que recomendo!!
