The staff are wonderful. Helpful, charming and friendly. The histal is in the old town. When I got off the bus it was a 38 minute walk. But I was turned down by 3 taxis - the old town is difficult navigate by car. I walked. Luckily I travel light. With only 10 kilos. But Potosi is 4 km above sea level and it was all uphill. I recommend finding a taxi company to call! Rooms are spotless and surround an internal courtyard. Great breakfast Thoroughly recommended!
Very nice hostel, with incredibly friendly staff! The rooms were big and cozy and warm! Breakfast was also really great!
Very nice staff and amazing breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice! Really recommend this place!
Great place. Friendly staff. Awesome rooftop view where one can have breakfast or spend the afternoon on. Bed was really comfy (comfy pillow too) and great water pressure on shower.
Really enjoyed our stay here, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast and helpful staff 😄
Amazing hotel some blocks away from the Central Square. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I had a single room with private bathroom and hot water. The kitchen is fully equippedthebreak Tfast is tasty. There were very few guests during my stay, but I could meet them during breakfast. The rooftop is amazing. I definitely recommend!
Great hostel, excellent rooftop terrace and very good breakfast.
Good stop off in Potosí. It feels more like a hotel because of all the private rooms but it was comfy and a good place to stay not too far from things.
The room we had was spacious, with powerful heating (an important point in Potosi in winter) and a wonderfully hot and powerful shower. The hostal is in a building with a charming internal courtyard full of plants and the smell of boiling eucalyptus leaves (delicious, particularly after the excursion into the mines!) and with multi-floor balconies giving access to the rooms. At the top, a roof terrace on two levels gives a truly unparalleled view of the City and the mountains beyond. A real USP...
Simple but nice place, staff very friendly, good breakfast
We thought Hostel Eucalyptus was great. The breakfast was excellent - fruit, eggs, bread, pancakes, jam and fresh orange juice. The staff were helpful with laundry, booking tours and luggage storage. The room was warm (a first in Bolivia!) and comfortable with a hot shower. We’d definitely stay again.
Fijn hostel, zeer vriendelijk, prachtig dakterras. Zeker een aanrader!
You are taken care off very well at Hostal Eucalyptus. Super friendly staff, who helped book our tour to the mine and a taxi to Sucre. The rooftop has a stunning view over the city. As a bonus, you don’t have to walk down to get your beers as there is an intercom where you can order beers which are delivered through a beer lift.
A good stay here. +Nice and friendly staff +Good comfortable bed +Let us check in late on +Breakfast included -No card machine! This is essential for a hostel… -The room was a little dated. -The breakfast was not ready for the start time, we had to wait 15 minutes which we did not have time for as we had an early bus
Great location near the city centre. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Even had a beer lift for the terrace
Our private room at Hostal Eucalyptus was spacious. The hot shower worked well. WiFi was also decent from our room. There is a terrace with a good view of Cerro Rico. Guests can also use the shared kitchen too. Location-wise, it is a short walk to the main plaza (3 blocks away). There's also a small supermarket about 4 blocks away. We could also book the tour of the mines directly with the hostal (the agency is Koala Tours).
loved this place! i stayed in a private room. staff were excellent and kind and helped me with an early check in. the room was gorgeous and spacious and secure. the rooftop was lovely too. having an included breakfast was very much appreciated and was tasty. they also helped me organise a tour of the mines for a good price. would definitely stay again.
Double bed private room. Pros: good security, staff friendly and helpful - booked us a taxi to Sucre, mines tour available for 130bs if you want. Breakfast was decent, rooftop view of city and mountains. Cons: no social atmosphere, cleanliness could be improved but honestly it follows a usual Bolivian standard so nothing terrible.
