This was an adorable old colonial property with friendly staff and phenomenal breakfast. However, definitely due for a refurbishment. NO HOT WATER. The lights were flickering and some of the fixtures outright falling off the wall. One single working outlet in the room. Poor counter space in the bathroom and very poor toilet. Someone kept turning off the A/C so we’d come back to a hot disgusting room. Mattress also felt like a rock. Also, some of the amenities were simply missing. No beach towe...

A quiet, calm and welcoming place to relax (perfect for before or after the lost city trek). The staff were so incredible and go out of their way to make you feel welcome - couldn’t recommend this place more.

Would surely come back here again. Stayed ex-and post Ciudad Perdida. Super nice and helpful staff. Location is also great. Only be caucious at night, there are sometimes some strange folks.

El personal fue muy profesional y servicial. Todo el hotel estaba muy limpio. Me sentí completamente segura en el hotel. Me encantó la piscina. Es pequeño pero perfecto para relajarse. Asegúrese de tener efectivo para pagar los extras. Definitivamente regresaré a este hotel.

Great value! Super clean, centrally located, and the staff is beyond friendly.

I loved my stay here. The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful and the breakfast each morning is delicious! We stayed at Hotel Nueva Granada for 2 nights before doing the Ciudad Pérdida hike and we loved it so much that we ended up coming back for a few nights after the hike. The pool and the hammocks were perfect for relaxing in and the rooms are comfortable with towels, soap and all the basics you could need. A perfect little oasis in amongst the hustle and bustle of Santa Marta!

Absolutely phenomenal place to stay in Santa Marta! On a quiet road directly next to all of the restaurants, shopping, easy access to the beaches, and so much more. Super easy to walk everywhere in Centro and you can safely get home quickly. The staff we’re all very friendly, and the ambience was gorgeous! The outdoor courtyard is really beautiful. Jorge, the manager, and he is truly an amazing host!

Its a lovely place with a lovely host. The garden is perfectly prepared to socialise with other travelers. The team is extremely nice ans welcoming.
