We had a great stay here, felt like we were basically the only ones which was sometimes eerie as there were no staff but equally meant we had the place to ourselves! Lovely little pool, decent kitchen and a very nice room!

Great spot to stay if you're planning to do some of the trekking or other outdoor excursions in the area! Clean, rooms had A/C and private bathrooms. Pool was on the small side but still great for a dip. Since the rooms are like a hotel and its off to the side from the main street with bars and restaurants it made for a quieter vibe.

Clean and well located hostel, with a small but nice swimming pool. Our room was ok with a good bed but not cosy because not decorated, with a ugly view. There was no atmosphere because we didn't see any other client. Finally, the first receptionist we saw seemed absorbed in something he was watching on his computer, as we struggled getting his attention to get in, and when we went out he let us try to open the door for like 20s whereas he needed to open it with a key.

Bed was very clean, rest of the room not so much. Great location, helpful staff.

Schönes Hostel mit großen, sauberen Zimmern. Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet. Allerdings keine Plätze im Außenbereich wo man gemütlich rumfliegen kann.

+ Staff are very helpful and friendly, location is decent, just a short walk to the center of the old town, room size was good - The hostel is just off of a busy intersection with heavy bus, car & motorcycle traffic & persistent honking until late at night and from very early in the morning. The room I stayed in faced the street and did not have much (or any) sound insulation, so unfortunately even with earplugs I got two nights of very poor sleep Better sound insulation would be a big plus

Positives: Super nettes Personal. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt absolut. Einrichtung gut (Klimaanlage, Ventilator etc.). Negatives: Vielleicht kein richtiges Hostel-Feeling, weil man nur schwer andere Reisende kennen lernt. Straßenlärm ist vielleicht teilweise doch zu hören. Insgesamt aber sehr zu empfehlen (wir haben es vor und nach unser Ciudad Perdida Tour genutzt, um zu entspannen).

it is a solid hostel, more like a hotel. it did't have a typical hostel atmosphere, but it is clean and cheap

Really great hostel near the city center of SM. Staff was wonderful, big shout out to Yeiner who booked the best Lost City tour via Magic Tour for us and was all in all very helpful! Beds were very comfortable, bathroom and shared kitchen very clean. Just be aware that it’s a loud neighborhood and the streets can feel a bit sketchy at night. And if you‘re looking to meet new people, it’s not a good spot because there aren’t a lot of solo travelers.

Valentina at the front desk was GREAT! :) But didn’t like the location very much, is not good for a woman traveling solo, and heading at night to the hostal can be scary.

Good value for money

At arrival, the guy was really unfriendly and needed around 15 minutes to check us in. The beds were comfortable. However, even though we asked for a quiet room (we arrived at 5 am) we got one towards the street with loud vehicles and blaring every 5 seconds. Without earplugs, it would not have been possible to sleep. The next morning, we spent 25 minutes discussing with the hostel owner to let us go. They had told us that we would have to pay for 2 rooms even though we only had 1 - not happy!

Amazing hostel. Very clean and spacious. Staff were lovely. Only thing is that it was a little out of the main centre for us, but only a 5 minute walk! Highly recommend.
