Good atmosphere and location. Stayed a couple of times at this hostel and was satisfied each stay. Friendly and helpful staff !
The experience in this hostel was amazing. It’s very close to Shilu Metro Station and Suzhou old town. The facilities are all kept very clean, and the staff is always there to help. The lobby area is also great to relax and meet some new people. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

Good atmosphere, friendly people (foreign and native alike). Walking distance to some sights and close to the metro. Smelly toilets, as is usual in China
Desti Youth hostel in Suzhou is a second home for me in Suzhou. The staff is welcoming like a family and a lot of nice activities are being organized, like open mic nights. The facilities are great and they are very helpful. I was even allowed to do some laundry there when I was only checking in two days later. 胖虎 & Max AKA 木 and all the other sweet people have made my trip to Suzhou a lovely experience. I stayed 10 nights (also because I’m working in Suzhou)
Really nice hostel with really nice hosts! They were all super nice, the place was clean and beds are good equipped. :)
Great place, such nice staff here! A very kind girl even helped me when the washing machine would not work for me without having a Chinese phone number, and wouldn’t even let me pay her back! Location in the hotel building had great views, but hard to find if you only speak/read English. If you can’t find it, it is within the Shilu Pedestrian Mall area, at the end of a dead-end road. Entrance looks like a hotel lobby and is across from a dumpling restaurant with a neon yellow sign :)
Nice social area, view and location. The staff was helpful, and bed and bathrooms were confortable. It was a little difficult finding the building at the arrival.
Nice staff, Had a nice time. The entrance is at the east Side of the building, the elevator inside gets you to the Hostel.
Unable to find property. Gave up as I was only in suzhou for a day and didn’t want to waste time. Should post more detailed instructions on how to get to the property

Great location, very short walk to Shantang street and the metro! Rooms were nice, common areas done well but the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner and there wasn’t much of an atmosphere to meet others. That’s just small things though, it overall was worth it and would stay again!
Very clean. Staff was nice! Loved the water dispenser and daily water bottle provided at your bed.Seams to be a company with a lot hostels in China, I stayed 4 of them.Recommend!

Well located.Clean and comfy beds. Pool table. Free water refills. The bathrooms are clean, with western-style toilets!
