Emerald Rainbow Caravan Hostel

Die Anlage wirkt stark veraltet und erinnert eher an einen verlassenen Campingplatz. Der Van war sehr staubig und offenbar nur oberflächlich gereinigt, zudem roch es unangenehm nach altem Fahrzeug. An einem Abend funktionierte das Wasser nicht. Toiletten und Duschen waren voller Mücken. Auf meinem Bett sind sehr viele Ameisen gekrabbelt, sodass wir zu zweit in einem Bett schlafen mussten. Insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Ich war drei Nächte im Hostel. Es war eine besondere Erfahrung. Die Möglichkeit, in einem alten Bus zu übernachten, macht den Aufenthalt einzigartig. Das Hostel liegt im Dschungel & bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre. Manchmal kann man Affen und andere Tiere sehen & hören. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, könnte dadurch geweckt werden. Die Küche ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Duschen & Toiletten befinden sich in einem separaten Bereich. Durch die Lage im Dschungel wird alles schnell schmutz...

Amazing & unique stay in Ometepe!

Robert and Julie are incredible people with an incredible place to stay. Will definitely visit whenever I return a very different experience than the usual Hostels you encounter and well worth the roll of the dice.

Such an amazing, unique and peaceful place, with incredibly kind managers. This place truly made my trip to Ometepe. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Cool hostel with a good facilities and social areas. The converted old buses and Vans you stay in are really funky. A really cool glamping experience. There is also a cafe on site if you don't wish to cook. The food is really delicious and so are the smoothies. Highly recommend

Place was ok. Not close to anything. Caravan was smaller that the photos made it look, not enough room to stand up (maybe if you get the big one) Place was kinda dirty, I get that it's outside but the bench and table outside my caravan were piled with dirt. Kitchen was subpar. Staff was kinda non existent, but when they were at the property they were great. Showers and bathroom (one was blocked for the whole night) didn't have enough privacy, only curtains and decorative holes in the walls.

Lage genau zwischen den zwei Vulkanen, gut gelegen, um Auflüge sowohl zu Playa Mango also auch nach Balgüe zu machen(mit Roller). Das Persal war immer hilfsbereit. Leider wurde sich um die Küche nicht gut gekümmert(Kühlschrank muffig und Spüle dreckig). Auch der Van, in dem wir geschlafen haben, hat leider gemüffelt, der Schlafsaal war allerdings gut. Da alles draußen ist und wir alleine im Hostel waren haben wir uns nicht immer sicher gefühlt.

Eindeutig ein einzigartiges Hostel und Konzept. In den Bussen zu schlafen ist so schön und die ganze Anlage ist so schön ruhig und Hippie-mäßig. Leider braucht man fast ein eigenes Transportmittel (Roller) um von dort aus Unternehmungen zu machen,da es etwas abseits liegt. In der Küche kann man gut einfache Mahlzeiten zubereiten. Als ich da war, habe ich leider nicht all zu viele andere Leute dort getroffen, ist vielleicht eher für Paare geeignet.

It was realy nice and Julie helped us out with everything. A nice big kitchen and a love to the detail for all the caravans, that can be rented. And a realy nice garden, where to socialise during campfires. thanks a lot.

Incredible hostel in Ometepe, I can't recommend staying here enough! We booked the deluxe bus and it was an incredible experience just living in a converted bus and the price is incredible. Not the most social but if you go with a partner or friends there's a fire pit with heaps of firewood. Perfect for having a few beers and we roasted marshmallows. Definitely put this place at the top of your list to stay in Ometepe island!

The caravans are really nice at first glance, but at second glance everything seems a bit old and not very clean. But it was an interesting experience for one night. The owner is super friendly and helped us to make a fire in the evening.

It's a very nice hostel, only downside are the ants I had in the van. There is a fireplace you can out at the evening it's pretty sweet there

super lovely ambiente with a beautiful Garden. this is an extremly nice hostel we can highly recommend! also the owner are super friendly, they have a kitchen, everything is clean and you can enjoy the nature.

Good hostel! Nice value for your money, but don't expect a big backpacker vibe. It would definitely upgrade the atmosphere if there were more activities or community incentivized happenings like making a fire together or eating. All in all, a good place to stay, with a cute little cafe and lovely decoration.

An absolutely beautiful experience - if you are looking for some time to escape to a relaxing and tranquil space this is for you. Vans are cosy, good kitchen, wood to make a fire, and easy to book a scooter from there too. Thank you :)

Really nice hostel with not too many guest and beautifully built into a lush garden. At night this place has a special atmosphere, check it out yourself :)
