Excelente estadía!! Atención amable y respetuosa del personal. El ambiente es amigable y te permite interactuar con muchas personas si es de tu agrado. Está bien ubicado.
Loved this hostel. The shared dorms were very clean and had lockers big enough to fit both your big and small backpack, which made the room very tidy and nice. The breakfast was really really good. The kitchen could only be used after 2 PM, but worked out fine. It is a bit up a hill from the town, but that meant that there was really quiet at night. The only bad thing to say is that the staff could only speak Portuguese and refused to try and explain in a way so we could understand.
good location, very picturesque and relaxing lots of cats! not very social - no social areas other than the outside dining room & reception sofa area air conditioning only between certain hours & patchy wifi strict rules about consuming breakfast outside of breakfast hours - e.g not allowed to take water in your bottle for later some staff not always the most helpful
the guy working day shift at the reception is inadequate and highly unprofessional. he threatened to call police on us when we complained about our clothes being put into the trash bags by the cleaning staff after they were “hanging on the wrong drying rack”. the manager later apologised for his behaviour and explained everything but over the course of 5 days of staying here, all our interactions with the team of the hostel were awful. breakfast is nice and the hostel is clean tho…

the place is amazing, literally all good beautiful and clean.. but whenever we asked any doubts or adressed any problems to the staff they always answered “the boss doesn’t allow us to do this or that so we can’t do anything about it” the people at night couldn’t solve our problem and we had to wait til next day.. when i asked the staff about a doubt they said I don’t know instead of letting me know who to talk to or what to do. the place is amazing again but the service is awful. L’hostel est très bien placé dans l’île. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas très bien. Les dortoirs sont petits mais plutôt calmes.
Cats everywhere!! So if you are allergic you are in bad luck, they are constantly in your beds and beg you for food! The bathrooms dont have doors so privacy is non-existent unfortunately… And they dont have filtered water, so you have to carry the water up a steep hill (location isnt the best) or pay twice the price to buy water at the hostel…
Pretty good hostel to stay at! Was a bit further of a walk compared to hostels right on the beach but not far at all. A market nearby to cook in their kitchen although the kitchen was a bit small. The included breakfast was definitely a plus and the rooms were kept clean.
I stayed in three different hostels in Abraao and this was by far the best of all. Staff is really helpful and kind, rooms are big enough, mattresses are comfortable, everything si clean, the cooking lady make an excellent corn cake. The location is not the best, but in any case Abraao is a small village and all the rest compensate.
Quanto à segurança a porta do quarto fica sempre aberta (apesar da existência de lockers dentro do quarto). Achei o colchão um pouco duro. Como sugestão poderiam colocar uma prateleira ou um suporte de armazenamento ao lado da cama.
De wc en de badkamer stonken heel erg. De verbouwing tegenover onze kamer was erg vervelend ze begonnen al om half 8. Het ontbijt was oké behalve als je om 9 uur kwam dan was het op!
Parfait pour se détendre mise à part les travaux au petit matin mais dans quelque temps se désagrément sera régler

Could have better facilities but it’s plenty. They keep it very clean but there was a lot of works going on while we stayed here so that meant it was a bit disruptive but still a very good option when in ilha grande
A nice family owned hostel offering free breakfast. The owner Gabriela speaks perfect English and will be able to assist you with whatever you need
