Really great hostel. The lounge area was super comfy. Beds were great to sleep in and it was nice that every bunk held a fan so when it got super hot you could turn it on. I noticed that most of my dorm roommates didn’t use the bed sheets since you had to put them on the bed yourself… I have only one real minus and it is that there was only one mixed shower and bathroom in 8 people dorm so you almost always had to queue to get in there. Also no paper towels for drying your hands in the bathr...

It was very good. Wasn’t the cleanest but standard in an 8 bed. About 20 min walk to main attractions. Staff were helpful. Bed had curtains, light and little table. However the sink was in with the shower which was inconvenient. Only one shower and toilet. Have to pay for a locker to store luggage (not impressed). Bar was popping but it was a champions league nights; the people were all really friendly. Definitely one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in.
This was the first ever hostel I stayed at and it was a great experience! I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm. It was clean, the beds had good curtains and the lockers could be locked with the room key. Felt safe staying there as a female solo traveller. Too bad I only had one night in Vienna!
The Wombat’s hostel at Naschmarkt is excellently located, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I stayed in a dorm room with 8 beds. Personally, for the price I paid for the room and considering the loss of sleep from people running in and out of the room late at night, snorers and sleep talkers, I don’t know if it was worth it as someone traveling alone. This isn’t really something in the hostel’s control, of course but it certainly affected my time there.

Location is a bit far if you love to walk. But other than this it is accessible from U4 lane that gets you everywhere. It is a big hostel with nice reception people who like to help. Yet their breakfast is a bit overpriced when you see what is included. You might want to skip this and get yours from the available cafes.

The walking tour was great and charles was very knowledgeable about vienna. The market is right across the street fom the hostel, for those that want a quick bite or are cooking. U4 metro is only five minutes away, which is easy to transfer to the airport. My roommates are great as we were all able to communicate each other's schedules as trying best not to interrupt each other's sleeping, since we were all doing different things. Laundry was convenient with free detergent but it's card not coi...

Great hostel only issue was that the curtain aren’t on the top bunk like in the pictures but that was fine! The staff were super nice and it was really easy to meet people (had a good pub quiz and bar downstairs). Would 100% recommend the walking tour - our guide Charles was great!!
A reliable, clean, well-run hostel. Not overflowing with fun and excitement but a great spot.
It was a good place to stay, not the most social. The property is large & there is a bar.
The place would have been the best if: the heat wasn’t put so high, it felt like it was 40 degrees and it was sooo dry. i left because i was afraid to get sick. I got extra charge because the washing machin instruction were not clear, and before it happened i ask for instructions and they just told me to « just read the sign » The lights in the building are controlled by the staff; at 7pm the dinning room was in the dark. They have a great hostel but they need to learn hospitality.

Great place to stay. Modern, clean and the curtains on the beds are a great touch. Each person as a safe and a fan which is great. Perfect first hostel experience
Very close to Metro station and super market. Only thing i found missing was shampoo and Shower gel, could have been provided as the per day tarrif is high.
