Mystic Vibes Fitness Commune

+ One thing I really loved about this place was the neighbourhood where Mystic Vibes is located. I'd previously stayed in Thamel and didn't exactly love it there but it was so much more quiet and peaceful around Mystic Vibes. There are also some really nice restaurants around (vegan and vegetarian ones, too). The Wi-Fi was pretty good and I was able to teach some online classes here. Suneet, the guy who runs the property, was very helpful and gave me some good tips on places to go around Kathmandu and treks to do. Would certainly stay here again.

- The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

- Couldnt spend more days will be back for more

+ The manager was aggressively pressuring me into taking hard drugs. He had the creepiest friends coming round high on allsorts. They were talking about black market stocks, so I don't know what would have happened if I'd been drunk or worse.

- The rooms had the decor of a crack den.

+ Mystic vibes is indeed a unique homestay in Kathmandu. Located in a quiet area of the city, it is only a few minutes by motorbike from the main attractions of the city. Besides the great facilities including a gym and a mandala room for relaxing and sharing some insightful conversations, the room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is big and has hot water. I arrived with a bit of a cold from my journey and my stay in Mystic Vibes helped me to recover. Sunit, the host, is a very kind man. He checked up on me and made me feel welcome. His place is a unique combination that nourrishes the body and the soul. Besides, it is located above Art Brew Coffee, a café that is also a space to develop creativity through painting. Thank you Sunit for welcoming me in Mystic Vibes ♡
