Bedbugs!! In two different rooms, two different guests, two different nights, same symptoms. Definitely confirmed. The staff accused the other person of lying when they told them about the bugs. Only spent one night there, but already full with bites. Don't even want to mention the electric outlet in the middle of the shower. No amount of niceness from the staff is compensating for this. 30/01/2026.

Booked for USD20, but when paying in local currency they used their own bad exchange rate instead of the real-time rate, which caused overcharging. Dorm bunks and the staircase are very low and it is easy to hit your head. Only one toilet for the entire second floor, often occupied, clogged, and unhygienic. Worst issue: bed bugs. My friend was badly bitten, including around the eye, and when we warned a new guest, staff accused us of lying. This place lacks basic honesty, safety, and respect

I can only give a bad review, because I encountered bedbugs here, and I was bitten all over my body. But the owner not only didn't solve the problem, but also said that I deliberately brought bedbugs to here... The attitude of giving bad comments to the landlord

Very nice hostel, spacious, clean. Rooms were nice also.

Buen lugar para descansar, tranquilo. Había 1 solo enchufe en la habitación de 4 y la habitación no tenía cortinas, pero el resto bien. Estuvimos solo 1 día, fue útil para lo que necesitábamos que era dormir luego de las caminatas.

Superbe auberge de jeunesse dans une ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Nous avons pu y faire des rencontres et passer de bons moments. Les lieux étaient propres et le gérant de l’auberge toujours disponible et souriant. Je recommande vivement !

Nice place, reasonable price and cosy feel with wooden interior. Down sides are only 2 toilets in same bathroom as showers, so often they are both occupied. Kitchen doesn't have a microwave and is a bit messy. Managers were friendly.

Kitchen is well equipped. Bathrooms were more or less clean. Big issue is the upper bunk bed in the dorm. The ceiling is so low that you can hit your head easily. Feels a little bit claustrophobic. Crawling into the upper bed is very challenging as there is no space above you - felt more like military crawling. One of the bunk beds didn’t even have a ladder to get up there. Also I made a reservation for the 4-bed-dorm and was then informed that they could only host us in the 6-bed-dorm.

While I prefer en suite private rooms, my dormbed here with shared bathrooms was very adequate. The rooms are spacious, lockable lockers for your gear, great showers, well heated, and overall very comfortable. The location is pretty good, about a 15 to 20 minute hike to the center of town. Handy to the bus station too.

Such a nice place, owner is the most helpful and caring man and saved us a lot. We got back late from the W trek and despite booking the wrong night he let us stay that night with no problem and looked after our bags while we were away. Highly recommend and really nice facilities.

La chica de la recepción es muy amable, el hostal muy tranquilo, se respetan las reglas, la limpieza y orden de las habitaciones es todos los días. Solo destaco un punto a mejorar y es que en la habitación donde me quedé, los camarotes no tenían escaleras por lo que había que usar los veladores o silla para subir (tengo entendido que en los demás no era así)

Francisco, the owner is extremely nice and helpful. Also he can recommend you places to go, and nice interesting ones, not typical turistic stuff. There are a lot of bathrooms in the hostel, so there is no problem with the lines, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and there is a socket for every bed, so there is no problem with charging the phone. It's 15 min from center and I liked it, because it's quiet and calm, but yeah u have to walk a little bit to go to a market or a bar.

Pros: good value for a hostel in Puerto Natales. Really spacious bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice couch area with TV and Netflix. Read lots of reviews about how other hostels are very cold, however don't worry about it here as there is lots of heating! Cons: Really low ceiling on the second floor, not ideal for tall people. 20 min walk to town center. Some rooms have shaky bed frames. Address on hostelworld is wrong, it's actually further down the street. Overall good stay
