Hostel & Rooms Ana was perfect for my needs. Right in the heart of the old city, it is within walking distance of almost any attraction that would bring someone to Dubrovnik. It is not a luxury hotel but it does not claim to be and what it claims to be (a safe, clean, cheap and comfortable place to stay) it delivers on and then some. I am particularly grateful to the staff who were helpful, approachable and went above and beyond to see that myself and others had what they needed. Many thanks.

Generally a really good place to sleep. I was there just one night and the staff was really nice to me. They explained everything I needed to know about how to get in and out of the city, and the map was super useful

+ We only stayed one night as we were traveling through , leaving early the next day
- Please be aware if you struggle with stairs , I forgot to mention and we ended up at the top floor , the room was very lovely though
location was perfect, kasper and ignasi who work theor were bith great and very helpful! not alot of room in bedroom but didnt spend much time their so was ok !

- Check in was a bit annoying since the owner contacted me all the time when we are arriving- a more flexible check in would have been more pleasant

+ Great location. Anamaria was amazing. The room was lovely and a nice little balcony.. Exceptional value for money. Close by to everything.

+ Nice modern room with great quality beds and bedding. Shower was very good (but sometimes ran out of hot water. Good location if you don’t mind stairs with your luggage. Right in old town which was nice. It is a very nice modern, normal hotel room. Didn’t have a lot of character but is comfortable and serves the purpose.
- Staff were very business like and just treated us like a customer which is fine. Would have really appreciated a little help with one bag up the stairs though. Be sure to know your check in time because they seem to only be there if someone is checking in. We felt quite anxious and rushed because we kept getting message asking when we would be checking in while we were trying to navigate from bus station. Apparently she had another appointment and was waiting on us so she could go to it. A self check in option would have been great so that we were not under so much pressure to hurry up numerous stairs with our luggage.

- Principalmente el baño, muy pequeño, incómodo y peligroso porque en la ducha la rejilla estaba suelta y resbalabas. El duchador no quedaba fijo ni se lograba centrar. El acceso es por escaleras, bastante empinadas lo que es molesto si vas con maletas y dos días estaban haciendo refacciones por lo que subíamos haciendo malabares para no mancharnos de pintura. Las vistas no eran lo que se describe

I was traveling through different Balkan countries for some weeks in march (so off season) and this was definitely my favorite hostel! There were wonderful volunteers and we had funny evenings together. Also the owner Ana is a truly lovely person and very helpful. Came there again when I went to Dubrovnik a other time and extend my stay several times because I loved it so much! Can totaly recommend it, especialy when it is off season!
