An excellent small hostel, very clean. A large bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The kitchen was better equipped than in the description, with a huge new fridge that dispensed filtered water and ice cubes. The location was just a few minutes safe walk into the main town, and the 238 bus passes just outside. Small shops nearby. Very secure, with electronic number codes for access. The host provides an excellent guide to th surrounding area. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing, welcoming, clean and quiet hostel in Juayua. We were welcomed with an early check in by the owner. The whole staff was incredibly kind and gave us personal and incredible recommendations from food to markets to hikes and motor bike rentals. There was an incredible private rooftop view of the volcanoes and it was gorgeous at anytime of night. The rooms are clean and the hot showers and kitchen are very nice. Highlyyyy recommend in Juayua!

This hostel is fantastic. The people working here are incredibly helpful. You have a kitchen right outside your room with great facilities. They have filtered water and free ice cubes. The beds are comfy and the room a good size. The only thing is that this hostel is not as central as some of the others, and not a huge hostel so maybe not as social, but it also creates a good environment to meet the people that are staying there. It felt like an airbnb in the best way!

A beautiful place to stay, clean comfortable and had a roof terrace view to die for. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a hostel, only lacking on atmosphere as doesn’t seem particularly lively.

We booked the private room w bathroom and it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay while visiting waterfalls in the area. The shower actually had consistent hot water and the bed and pillows were fairly comfortable. The bedroom window is right next to a busy street and it is noisy throughout the day, but at nightfall things get quite and you can sleep peacefully. No AC, fan only. Hit up @pacheando_tours to check out Las Siete Cascada & Chorros de la Calera, extremely worth it and is a must see!

Good value for money. Not in the centre of the village nor the bus station but very close to the waterfall Chorros de la Caldera

Nice hostel cozy and isn’t the common hostel where you meet other travelers. Excellent for couples. Short walk to anywhere in Juayúa. Clean and the host is very friendly and happy face. Access to clean kitchen and full bathroom.

INCREDIBLE stay at Mixtepek. The owner’s (Ovi and Daisy) are such kind and welcoming people. Spent hours chatting with Ovi, who is down to earth and gave really helpful recommendations for our time in El Salvador. The place feels a bit more like a home stay than a traditional hostel, but in the best of ways, with your own private space. Must be said: the mattresses are very comfy, which is rare. Tolle Unterkunft, sehr sauber und schöne Zimmer. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Hosts super nett! Außerdem gibt es eine schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Vulkane. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen :)

A secure place within a short walk of the town centre. Our room was not huge, but perfectly functional, like the photos show. We were welcomed warmly by our host who was very polite and helpful. There was also a nice little terrace to use.
