Good Hostel for a couple of nights, the rooms were quite cold, but the common areas are well heated, there's free tea and coffee and guitars!!
Very friendly host! warmly recommended! I like very much the fresh air in the dorm. The other rooms are warm and inviting.
Highly recommend this place! The owner/manager is super friendly and goes out of his way to help. Also decently close to supermarket and bus station which helps
friendly owner, but a bit sketchy hostel.
A really nice, cozy hostel! Small and friendly, staff were really helpful. A great place to stop over in Punta Arenas.
I almost never leave hostel reviews, but this was an exceptional night - it was actually my second night staying at this hostel, I came back because I had enjoyed it the first time! But unfortunately there were people who played guitar from 12am-past 5 am, singing, yelling. I was able to sleep through it at the beginning but kept waking up as group seemed to get bigger & louder. Eventually I went out to check and ask them to keep it quieter and I found the man who RUNS the hostel with them!
Very cozy family-run hostel. The owner is very nice and helpful. It is also very near to the supermarket and Bus-Sur stop.
This is as classic as a hostel can get. Peeling paint, barely a sign outside, soap and paper towels empty and dishes piling up in the sink, but on the other hand a clean, comfortable, quiet place to sleep and full of solo travelers happy to tell their story over a beer or whatever they just cooked. Really fits the idea of being at the edge of the world. This place has a lot of charm. It's not for everyone but for your traditional backpacker it really is a paradise.
very good value for money, but when it is full, general facilities tends to be overcrowded
Okay for 1 or 2 nights, no windows in some rooms and very noisy, old beds but for the price okay
A cozy, safe hostel with super friendly staff. Felt very welcomed here and would surely come back.
excelentes lugar, muy recomendable
A 5 minute walk from the bus station which is perfect if you’re staying for a night between buses!! Was relatively clean and very good value for money. Has a good kitchen and is also close to some restaurants.
Staff were up playing video games until the early hours on multiple nights, the walls are so thin so you hear everything. Bunk bed was so rickety and then moved to the mattress on the floor lol. No hand soap in the bathroom was disappointing as well as no lockers in the room. Would have been nice to have plug sockets, light etc for each bed. People I met there were good and location is convenient to the rest of the city but overall hostel was pretty basic. Cash only too.
This hostel was a joke. Online it says it’s 24hr reception but this was not the case… I left an email regarding my check in times well before the arrival date and had no reply either. When we arrived late at night no one answered the door or there phone so we had to go to a different hostel. Don’t recommend
Very nice host, it is very close to the Puerto Natales shuttle stop. Highly recommended if you need a place to stay at Punto Arenas.
I don’t like to give this hostel a bad review as we stayed there a week ago on our way over to Ushuaia and everything was good. The owner was helpful and friendly. However, we stayed there again on our way back and I’m guessing the owners son was left in charge. His obnoxious friends were there with him, making loud immature noise until almost midnight which affected our sleep, sat at the desk with shoes and socks off and one of the male friends used vile racist language. Utterly unacceptab...
