Madre Tierra Hotel & Coworking & Hostel

Definitivamente la mejor opción de hospedaje,es muy tranquilo, la ubicación es excelente, las playas las tienes en menos de 10 min máximo (caminando), el personal muy amable, (en especial el chico de lentes de la noche) y la mejor parte… La terraza, una vista increíble, excelente para relajarte, sin duda me volvería a hospedar aqui!!!

Todo fue increible para ser mi primer viaje sola fue un experiencia me quede en cuarto compartido y todos mis rommies fueron increíble, solo falto hacer limpieza un dia pero nada que no pudiera solucionarse

I loved the privacy in the female dorm I stayed in, and all the storage space. I wish there were more hooks in the room to hang up wet towels and bathing suits.Bathrooms were okay. They also really needed hooks or shelves for clothes/towels. One of the shower heads leaked terribly/shot water out the side. One bathroom never had toilet paper.The kitchen was terrible. The coffee machine doesn't work. No lids for pots/pans. Knives were dull. Fridge was full/dirty.

Prime location perfectly situated between the big supermarket (Chedraui) and the beaches. The rooms are clean. the showers have hot water. The terrace is connected to the kitchen, which offers a lovely spot to enjoy your meals while watching the sunset. It’s an ideal hostel for remote working and definitely a chill place with good vibes.

Les avantages : Les dorms féminins sont super. Très conforts, intimité au top et les étagères font plaisir. La vue de la terrasse. L'emplacement globalement. Les gros inconvénients. Ils ont voulu me faire payer plus que ma réservation. Le check-in à 15h (c'est très tard) et quand on arrive les lits ne sont pas prêts. Il y a 1 fourchette pour tout le monde. Bon courage pour l'avoir. Les poêles sont synonyme de cancer. Il n'y avait plus de liquide vaisselle, je vous laisse imag...

All was very good, the girl at the reception super nice ! You can enjoy very nice sunrise/sunset from the terrace. Super cool location.

Bagno pulito, ma il resto no. Distributori di acqua solo al piano terra, quindi scomodo per le camere e per la cucina che si trova all’ultimo piano. Molto bello il terrazzo

The male receptionist was rude and very unhelpful - apart from this , the room was comfortable and clean

Really kind staff! great location if you come in with a late night bus. There was absolutely 0 social atmosphere at the hostel. I was happy I got a 8-dorm room to myself, because the lockers were accesible to anyone who simply lift the mattress off the bed

I had a great stay at Madre Tierra hostel. It’s definitely the best value of all the hostels I visited in Puerto Escondido. Low key, tranquil and an a terrace with an unbelievable view of the ocean. The room is comfortable and you have more then enough space to keep your things. The kitchen could use a working blender, but aside from that you have everything you need to cook. The staff was very pleasant and even offered the change the sheets after 1 day. I hope they get more business

i think the rooms are amazing, it’s really clean and the hostel it’s actually beautiful. The only thing is that me and my friend had the whole room for us hahah for us was good but if you’re looking for a social hostel this is definitely not for you, and also i think you should be better about the security, like but some bracelets to the guests because i feel anyone can enter the hostel and the team won’t notice. But after all i loved the hostel to be honest

Not a very social hostel, but nice to calm down a bit. I enjoyed it not staying in La Punta, it’s much more local here. Also you can walk from the hostel to beaches where you can swim and surf. Unfortunately there a no lockers in the room. There are supposed to be lockers under the bed, but you can just grab in from the side. Maybe they can fix that.

Ostello molto pulito e confortevole. Letti comodissimi e bellissima vista dalla terrazza. Molto grande quindi non semplicissimo socializzare. Nel cuore della città e sopra una pizza nella quale fanno tantissime attività locali

Check-in guy wasn‘t very welcoming. Everyone else was quite friendly. Nice rooftop. Kitchen wasn‘t clean at all and mostly messy. Tables were mostly dirty. Sometimes no toilet paper & there was no soap in the bathroom next to the kitchen. Safety-box under the bed wasn‘t that safe since anyone could lift the mattress & grab into the box

Nous sommes resté deux jours. Globalement c’est un lieu agréable mais il n’y avait aucun événement ni d’ambiance, plus un ressenti comme un hôtel qu’une auberge. Les chambres pour femmes étaient spacieuses et bonne literie. La cuisine mériterait un bon nettoyage. Emplacement idéal en revanche et très belle vue depuis la terrasse.

The hostel has some great features like the chilling area filled with tables, chairs and hammocks with the view of the ocean which is the perfect place to relax and do some work. The bathrooms are private and very nice. But I did find the cleanliness not on point , one of the girls in my room was about to go to bed and the bed had some hair and nuts in it….. Also zerooo security, anyone can come in and out of the hostel and the lockers don’t even protect your things as they are not tall enou...

Nice hotel like place in the centre. Clean, pleasant and comfortable. Value for money great as well. The only downside is they have no lockers (that are secure anyway, you can reach under the bed and put your hand in). - which is the only reason I left.

its chill there isn't much going on but it's cheap, clean and the staff is nice.

Este es un hostal EXTREMADAMENTE TRANQUILO, más parecido a un hotel. Si buscas un descanso de los hostales grandes, de fiesta, este es el lugar perfecto pero ten en cuenta que no ofrecen actividades, ni ningún servicio adicional . Aquí no te vas a encontrar a nadie y el hostal se siente más bien vacío todo el tiempo. Está cerca a Rinconada, lejos de zicatela y la fiesta allá. Las habitaciones están bien, las camas son cómodas y hay aire acondicionado en los cuartos , aunque no refresca ...
