Soggiorno Fortezza Fiorentina

Facilities are cozy and clean, great location a bit removed from from city center while close enough to walk and use the many buses/tram/trains. The hosts are kind and very accommodating! They even let us store our bags there a few hours after checkout so we could explore the city without luggage (very helpful for our visit to the Duomo). The electric kettle and coffee welcome tray were also a nice touch: we enjoyed a cappuccino before starting our day :)

The location was perfect. So close to the train station and easy walking access to all the main attractions. Everything within 10-20 minutes walking. There’s also really good bus and tram connectivity. Although the bathroom is shared, it is so clean. We were very happy with the experience. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely visit again if I’m in Florence.

This was a great stay! We appreciated the elevator to take us up to the 3rd floor and the bed was comfortable and also appreciated the complimentary coffee left in our room. Thank you for a great stay!

Good proximity to the rest of the city and distant enough to not feel over crowded. Hosts are extremely nice and helpful in getting settled. The walk from the station and rest of the city is not the nicest to explore but is not too far from major sites as well as the river. Additionally, the bathroom is shared with your fellow guests but is cleaned regularly. This is a great spot to lay one’s head down at night and get to see Florence or any day trips close by!

This was a great hostel! It felt more like a B&B. Perfect location, lovely hosts, and clean space.

Tres bien placé , pas loin de la gare comme indiqué dans l'annonce nous y sommes allés à pieds. Bien situé car nous avons visité Florence à pieds sans prendre de transport . On nous a permis de déposer nos bagages en arrivant ce qui est bien pratique. Juste un peu bruyant le soir et le matin de bonne heure car nous sommes prêt de la route sinon rien à dire .impect

The location is really great, very close to the station and tour buses out of the city. Facilities are a little simple: microwave, limited washing up, no cutlery etc although fridge and kettle in rooms. Wifi connection is good. The hosts were very welcoming and responded promptly to questions. We did have some issues with the shared bathrooms, where people were just a little inconsiderate but that's not really the hosts fault. All in all, we had a great stay here.

Good Location, close to the oldtown and Restaurants. Nice hosts. Comfy rooms. No kitchen.
