Hostal Pompeya

When I got there I was met with the problem that there was no receptionist, I was emailed a code to get into the hostel and then to my room. The door code to my room did not work and I was forced to call and text with some virtual helper. That was slow and took 25 minutes for me to get into my room. Then, when I get there the room is crawling with ants. I again contact the virtual helper and have to ask twice for her to move me to a room without ants. There were ants in that room too. Gross.

Stayed for two nights and it has been the most expensive place I've ever stayed at and arguably the worst - the room itself and the location were fine, but it has absolutely no atmosphere and the WiFi didnt even reach my room. It wasn't even the furthest room away. Friends of the staff would come to visit and chat loud into the night. Worst of all, they charged me twice and it's only once I asked to be reimbursed that they payed me back (not even the full amount). Avoid this place if you can.
