I had bedbugs bites all over my arms when leaving the hostel. The sheets were clearly insufficient. No one was at the reception, everything is online The beds are creaking so much that every time someone moves a little you hear it like crazy Even if the location was amazing, I wouldn’t recommend staying there

Decent properly, not “best location.” Host wasn’t there. We are 95% sure our room had bedbugs because of the room of 4, two mattresses were missing and we found one in our clothes the next day.

Great hostel, didnt have any problems except the mattress cover was a bit ripped and there shouldve been a duvet cover but no sign of any bed bugs like many of the reviews says on here

We were in room 6 and got a couple bed bug bites each, otherwise good stay. However the “kitchen” is only a kettle, microwave and fridge. We had been expecting to cook so that was disappointing.

Nice hostel in a very good location. Towels not provided, you have to hire them and staff are never there although do answer the phone when needed. Possible bed bugs in the room.

This place is really good location and pretty good value for money. I will say that there were bed bugs, and it is questionable whether the bottom mattress sheet is cleaned as you are only given a top sheet. Also - no air conditioning! So it gets very very warm inside even with the windows open. But all in all, it is a really good price and location. It’s practically the same price as a campsite, so just pretend your camping and then it feels a bit nicer and bearable!

There is no reception, so you need to speak english to undersdand how to enter,its not very safe because People you know the code can open to everybody. But the problem was the very big beds bugs! For sure still in the room1,bed nunber2. I had a lot of bite ,I am very sensitive so I swelle a lot .. Traveling in my Sister van,I dont want to put bed bug in the van.. She has to borrow me all her clothes, all my backpack is in a rubbish bag for the rest of the trip .. Except this the place is OK.

Good location, but this is the first hostel where i found bedbugs. The showers are designed for tall people, so if you’re 1.56 m like me you might struggle a bit. There’s only two toilets, although they were available every time i needed it

The atmosphere of the place itself was a bit weird but i met great people, very sociable. There is only a microwave, a kettle and a fridge so keep that in mind. Beds and floors were a bit squeaky and i had bedbugs which was a bit scary for me :( But overall i had a good experience.

They let me check in earlier than listed. The hostel was not as clean as the photos suggested: black mold in the showers, dirty floors, dirty bed sheets, dirty kitchen (not just dishes). I looked for bed bugs in my bed because I saw the comments. I did not see them in my bed. I did get 4 raised bites on my arms, but I do not know when I got them. You had to be quiet after 9 pm because of close neighbors and one neighbor knocked on the door about someones bike, but it was not in the way.

The location was good, clean hostel however there were a few issues with the location. There's only two toilets for the whole hostel, one with no sink which for the size of the hostel isn't great. No hob in the kitchen, and others in different rooms to us had bedbugs. The staff were fine, but we had a member of staff give out to us for having our clothes out in our rooms and also tell us to go shower before she cleaned them or not shower that day at all. Good location but wouldn't stay again.

Disgusting! They made my friend pay in cash (even though they took a deposit from the credit card). The man was very rude. When we came back with euros his office was closed and at 11:00pm an angry cleaning lady barged into our room without knocking and started yelling at my friend that she had to leave now and they were cancelling her booking. We were able to stay (unfortunately). Facilities were disgusting, 1 1/2 toilets for all rooms and worst, bedbugs! Wish I could give negative stars!

DO NOT STAY! Have never left a review! rude owners + bed bugs. When I saw bed bugs I messaged the owners at around 1am stating I would leave in the morning and would expect a refund for the next nights. The told me I had to leave right then or no refund was possible- solo female traveler in a foreign country, but they couldn’t understand why I wasn’t comfortable leaving. I told him I would only want the refund for the next night but couldn’t leave at 1am. He cancelled my stay so I couldnt review

Pretty basic hostel. A fine way to get into Vienna without spending a lot of money though! Location is fine, your close to the museum quarter. The check in is all self service which I have no problem with, only time I saw staff was when the cleaners appeared. I woke up with a rash on my legs which now seems most likely to have been bedbugs but I didn’t think to check for them at the time of my stay so I cannot be certain if they have them or not so I didn’t rate them too low on cleanliness but I’d advise yo

The worst hostel experience of my life. Do not stay here, there’s a reason why it has such low reviews on Google and here. The washrooms are disgusting, you use a red blanket that has never been washed, people got bed bugs. Literally disgusting, pay a bit more for good quality. If I could give a -100+ I would

As soon as I arrived I found a bed bug, crushed it, full of blood. I have been bitten but I did not found a situation similar to the ones I read about. Never seen anyone of the staff, just a guy with earphones cleaning up. It is true that the beds are noisy, it is not easy to sleep considering you share. Kitchen area and fridge and microwave quite dirty, i threw moldy pizza from the fridge myself (and it wasn’t mine). It was barely ok.

Very good location (close to the museumquartier and Hofburg) but very bad staff. We had to pay only by cash and they try to cheat us. We think they were some bed bugs. And we only have 2 toilets for everyone and 2 shower for each gender.
