Happy Marrakchy Hostel

We had a lovely stay in this hostel. The host was so friendly and welcoming - I could not praise him higher! The location was central but at first it did feel unsafe. The locals harass as you at first and try to get your money, which is quite intimidating, but we found that once you’re settled in they leave you alone. There’s often large groups of men outside. It was very clean, breakfast was great and the shared area was very nice. Would recommend

Very nice rooftop, silent sleeping. Good shower, very good breakfast (best I had) The neighbourhood is VERY sketchy though. At night Got hit in the neck by a local for no reason, I saw girls running scared, two dorm people got threatened to pay up to avoid a “face beating” There is a gang hanging around at the entrance in a very dark alley. I got into strong flight/fight mode and couldn’t sleep at all. If you’re a woman, AVOID at all cost.

The host was super kind, friendly and open to any question or request. The place is really nice and is kept clean. Definetly recommend!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, Ibrahim is a very attentive owner who cares about everyone's needs and is always available for any request. The building is recently renovated and the cleanliness is exceptional. I absolutely recommend this property, definitely a level above others in the same price range.

I first stayed here for 2 nights and after I went to another hostel, I came back for 3 nights because I liked it so much. It's literally one of the best hostels I've ever been to! There's a free breakfast (included in the price), tea in the afternoon the rooms are clean, the bed is cozy, you have your own locker and a beautiful roof terrace where you can spend some free time. Staff super nice, super helpful. Gave us good recommendations for food and activities. Also provided takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early. highly recommend.

Nichée au milieu de la médina, cette auberge calme ou l’accueil y est chaleureux est parfait pour s’éloigner un peu de l’agitation. Le gérant est très à l’écoute et gentil. L’endroit offre une terrasse avec une belle vue et j’ai trouvé l’auberge plutôt propre !

Toward the end of the trip this place felt like home. And it felt safe as a female traveler. The hosts are super nice and they try to be friends with every guest. They are very passionate about sharing their culture. The hostel is not the biggest, but it has everything you need (bed with curtain, locker, cozy rooftop). The breakfast is delicious and I ate dinner there as well - best tajin ever! The locaton is a bit hidden, so if you’re lost, call and wait for the host to find you.
