Qupqugiaq Inn Anchorage

Very nice people. Clean, comfortable bed. Only problem was bedroom heating system too hot.

Simple, comfortable single room. Shared bathrooms need upgraded. Not very helpful or friendly staff and zero atmosphere. Booking included breakfast according to Hostelworld but they don’t do breakfast.

Qupqugiak was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely staff and kitchen facilities. The walls are thick. Bring an eye pillow if you are visiting in the summer and need it to be dark. The hostel is very clean. For one night it works. You are close to the airport and parking is included.

Felt safe and looked after. Lots of help with baggage and getting snow off car. Really nice other residents.

The room was clean and cozy. The common space was great for us to get some work done. The staff was very friendly and helpful

A boutiquie fun funky place to stay. Price was good and my room had a balcony and windows looking out at the mountains. I smiled coming in and seeing water, granola bar & chocoates on the desk. Nice touch. It’d be a perfect place to stay if you had a car. I got around ubering everywhere.

My staff was trouble free. the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the kitchen area and dining table. I always felt safe. Parking late at night or leaving early in the morning, there was always someone around.

The manager checked me in and was so nice and efficient. She really goes above and beyond to meet your needs. A woman helped me with my bag and was very friendly. I really enjoyed coming here! It might not be for everyone, but I’d come back again!

The Staff was helpful the room was very well furnished. Staff pointed us to a very nice eatery walking distance. We would like to return again.

Overall okay. However, no breakfast as they state that they serve on their profile. That was disappointing. Some bathrooms kinda nasty. Beds okay. Wifi okay

Bedding didn't have a full set of sheets and no cover in quilt. Got locked out of my room several times with malfunctioning swipe card security system. Didn't feel safe here and my backpack got stolen from common room by an employee. Bag was returned but cash was gone..

The hostel is quite far away from Downtown (about 45 min walk) but there is a local bus system. The kitchen is very small compared to other hostels I stayed in. It's possible to store bags if you arrive early. A Walmart and a Laundry are very close by.
