Great hotel , clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Helpful friendly staff. Only slight disadvantage is that breakfast is not included but it is only 10 Eur so that’s a pretty reasonable price .

Clean linens and pleasant helpful staff, but the sink was cracked, bath was stained, tiling was DIY job, strong smell of damp in the common areas… it’s fine as a hostel just don’t expect grown up standards.

The place was pretty dirty and cramped, which isn’t that big of a deal but they also charged us for a triple and only gave us a double. The guy behind the counter was really nice but not that helpful. Location was good tho! Lots of bars and restaurants nearby

My friend and I were hoping for two things in particular, a bed to sleep and a hot shower. At least we got the bed part. In the morning we barely had any water coming out of the the tap. We waited a bit, then a quick cool shower later, told them downstairs, and by the time we finished packing up and went downstairs to checkout, there was nothing resolved. Guy at the counter promised someone would call us later. No call received or anything acknowledged.

This is a little gem in Cork. My friend and I reserved a twin bed room with private bath and were surprised to get a family room with a double and twin bed. They had great amenities like tea and coffee that we could make in the room and a hair dryer which was very much appreciated. The beds were so comfortable and the room while small, was just perfect for our needs. The only downside was that the bar and restaurant was not really open as they were unable to get enough staff.

Great staff, location and facilities. Would certainly return.

The front desk staff was cheerful but this hotel was major letdown. Unfortunately it isn't the COVID-safe property the website says it is-- yes, there are signs saying folks must wear masks but half the staff don't and I didn't see any other guests wearing masks, nor did I hear any staff enforce this policy. Additionally, there is no AC and it was a heatwave, making my stay very uncomfortable. The Metropole (much nicer) was the same price-- wish I'd checked there before making this res.
