Kareem was attentive, responsive and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with him and see that he’s working hard to grow his hostel business. I highly recommend staying here, in the midst of the lively Zamalek neighborhood.

Sharif and Kareem are super attentive to the First and Go out of their way to help and make sure everyone has a nice experience. The room was big and clean. They also now have a new Hostel with Contemporary airbnb feeling and a view over the City to the pyramids! Thank you so much for thé hospitality !

Hostel is very very centraly located, in live neigborhood with lots of shopps and good restaurants.Owner is dedicted and profesional host, responsive and helpfull in any situation. Reccomands for couples and solo travelers.

L’ostello è piccolo, pulito ed accogliente. Si trova all’ottavo piano di un palazzo con security 24/24 in una zona molto sicura e internazionale. Kareem è sempre disponibile e vi farà sentire come a casa sin da subito! Può organizzare i vostri transfer da/per l’aeroporto e delle visite guidate. Portatevi i tappi per le orecchie perché alcune camere danno su una strada trafficata anche di notte. I letti sono confortevoli e aria condizionata funzionante. Ci tornerò di sicuro!

Zamalek X Hostel is a very nice place, in a nice location and has nice staff. Unfortunately, I faced a number of issues: 1. The locations on Google Maps (and Booking.com) is incorrect. As a result, I was wandering around where the hostel was supposed to be for two hours. Not great. 2. My room was not the room I booked. My room was fine, but would have been nice to get the (more expensive) room I booked. Not great. 3. I was charged the full rate (not excluding the Hostelworld fee). Not great.

We had an amazing experience staying with Kareem in Zamelek. He is an exceptional host with wonderful recommendations for things to do in the immediate area and was so generous to drop us off at the airport. We also really enjoyed that he is very present at the hostel and is interested to talk to you about your stay in Egypt. Also, housekeeping keeps common areas very clean!

We spent 5 nights here and had a great experience. Overall, the hostel feels like a hidden gem in Zamalek, which provides all the comforts of a modern apartment but at a competitive price. It was the perfect base for us to explore all of the amazing bars, cafes, and restaurants in Zamalek, as well as Cairos other attractions. Crucially, what made us feel most at home is Kareem’s hospitality, who went above and beyond to find a Salah football top and recommend local spots. Thanks for everything...

Be advised that: 1. This listing falsely says they accept card - but they claim to not have a CC machine 2. There was no one (not housekeeping, not a guard, no one at the front desk) for my entire 2 day stay - but there were always people loitering near the building entrance. Not a place for female travelers. 3. they do NOT provide breakfast despite the listing saying it does 4. Do your own research for tours, taxis, etc. - the prices they quote overcharge a ton.

Zamalek is a great neighbourhood to stroll around, eat and explore. It also feels super safe. Kareem, the hostel owner, goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and convenient - he communicates clearly without being overbearing. Plus the place is spotless. Can only recommend!

I loved my stay here! The hostel feels like someone's beautiful old house. It can be a little difficult to find at first, but is right in the heart of Zamalek - the perfect area for a first stay in Cairo as a solo female traveler. The staff is lovely and is so welcoming. Will definitely be coming again next time I am in Cairo.

Muito bem situado. Kareem foi espetacular. Foi-nos buscar ao aeroporto e deixar e do início ao fim da estadia foi extremamente atencioso e ainda nos disponibilizou para que caso precisasse de um sítio no último dia para descansar e tomar banho, podíamos fazer no hostel sem pagar nada.

We had a great time at the zamalek x hostel. Me and a friend stayed 6 nights in a twin room. Everything was clean and the owner Kareem was always available. The hostel had a big common area and a kitchen (which we didn't really use, because there are a lot of great restaurants and food options around, but might be handy for longer stays). Zamalek is a nice and relaxed neighborhood and a good place to start exploring the rest of the busy city. There is a security guard downstairs that lets you in...

J'ai passé une nuit fantastique au Zamalek Hostel au Caire. L'accueil chaleureux de Karim a rendu mon séjour mémorable. Les installations étaient impeccables, et l'ambiance conviviale m'a permis de me sentir chez moi. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous les voyageurs en quête d'une expérience authentique et confortable au cœur du Caire !

Zamalek hostel is located in a great area in Cairo, it’s an area where you can walk safely and you have everything (services) within walking distance. It’s hard to identify the location as it’s not signposted. The hostel itself has a chill vibe as it’s an apartment broken down in rooms, the apartment is cozy and it offer spaces to chill. It also has a great view. They don’t take credit or debit cards so you must bring cash (unfortunately)there are two ATM machines near. I found it exp...

We had such an amazing stay at this hostel! Staff was very flexible and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The hostel itself is in a great central location and extremely clean! We can’t wait to come back here!

This hostel was totally perfect for me! In the heart of the best part of the city, but a peaceful oasis of calm from the hostel outside. Kaareem and the staff were super helpful and friendly and the place has all that is needed in terms of cooking, with great shops nearby. The price is very reasonable and the view of the Nile from my room is like waking up in a dream!

Skønt ophold! Stort værelse med udsigt til nilen, rigtig venligt personale og rigtig god beliggenhed. Også tæt på metro som gjorde det nemt at opleve Cairo :)
