I booked this hotel and was charged on arrival, but then told no rooms were available and was moved to another hotel. The new place was dirty and in poor condition. I was given a room without a window or private bathroom, despite paying for one. As I arrived at midnight, I had no choice but to stay. Overall, a terrible experience.
Muy atentos
While I agreed with the owner to write a good review, I do it because they deserve it for real, but not great! So let's start with the good things: the staff first, they've been very welcoming. While there is like a dispute on the name I guess(New Tut or Anubis),they gave me their best room for the first night. The terrace felt like people were waiting for me since long time, but in any case the atmosphere may have been influenced from the season, and water was an issue I have to report. Good spirit.
A good welcoming customer service environment would recommend to others thanks.
It’s not Hostel. It’s a Hotel. No service at all. Not even a drinking water. AC was not working for 2 nights. Internet was not working for 1 day. Bad place. The only thing good is it is near the pyramid with camel and horse smell neighbourhood. Smell was strong when you leave the Hotel but not inside the room.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect — it’s only a 2-minute walk to the entrance of the main pyramid complex, where you can see all three pyramids and the Sphinx. The rooftop is amazing, offering stunning, direct views of the pyramids, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s definitely one of the highlights of staying here. During my stay the hotel wasn’t serving food, which turned out to be a good thing as it gave me the chance to explore some nearby local restaurants and s...
I had a fantastic stay while there. the rooms are clean, the staff are all extremely friendly, its only a few mins walk to the entrance for the Pyramids, and the view from the rooftop is unbelievable. I would have 0 hesitation to stay here again the next time im in Cairo. Thank you for the stay!
Was an amazing place very affordable, and the staff was extremely friendly, polite and kind and I felt very, very, very safe
Tolle Large, nette Personal. Wenn ich noch mal vorbeikommen würde ich wieder hier übernachten.
The staff was very helpful and the hostel had an amazing view of the pyramids. But safety and cleanliness was definitely a issue. I was booked for 3 nights, but I checked-out the very next morning since I couldn't fathom sleeping in my room.
Hotel was clean, Rooftop view of the pyramids was superb, room came with ensuite. The streets outside the hotel are full of Camel and Horse droppings. If you have a room on the top floor like I did, there is a goat that lives on the roof next door that is loud and non-stop throughout the night. The roof shakes in the wind which is loud at night. The hotel has the essentials, and is good for the price. Stay here for one night only, have a rooftop dinner, see the pyramids in the morning, and leave
this is a tough review to write because I was actually taken to a different hotel without any explanation. he asked me for 70 dollars until I showed him my booking. then he told me I would have to change rooms for the second night and when I asked why he says ok don't change. the hotel promised entertainment- I was basically alone. however I did have the most incredible view of the pyramids from my bed!!! and the guy actually sitting at the hotel I stayed in was very nice. so that's my experienc
The Hotel has a magnificent view of the pyramids. The staff is very kind and every morning they served us a typical Egyptian breakfast. And near the pyramids and nearby there are various shops where you can buy various products. I recommend staying in this hotel, I would like to return one day
The place has an excellent location, the managers are very friendly, but there was never hot water and it was very cold, likewise the internet never worked.
Great value for the pay. very accommodating.
Would not recommend this hostel. While the staff is kind and welcoming, most rooms do not have windows, locks on rooms were broken or not functional, wifi did not work outside of the main lobby, and the hostel is next door to the facility the houses all the camel and horses that ride around the pyramids. Not the fault of the hostel but the street is littered with animal waste. Further, I did not complete my stay. I opted to leave less than an hour after check-in.
The view from the pyramids are amazing but everywhere in Giza seems a tourist trap - you're much better off staying in Cairo and taking a day trip to the pyramids. Food prices in the neighbourhood are insanely high and food isn't good at all. The included breakfast was poor, and we had to wait around 40 minutes for it as the woman working there went to the shops to buy bread and eggs! So we got to the pyramids an hour later than intended. Waiting for breakfast wouldn't usually be a problem (we'd...
Hotel is nearby pyramids. Room was okey. Streets are not cleans and content hustling from local people who sit in front of the hostel. Overall, it is okey.
Very nice view of the pyramids from the rooftop. There is a good cheap restaurant next door open after lunch. Breakfast is pointless and really sucks, it’s a hotdog bun, yoghurt and a piece of cheese. Don’t use the guided tours they are overpriced. Use Uber instead or make sure to agree on a reasonable price first.
Increíble atención! se ocupan de todos los detalles, te ayudan en lo que necesites. super recomendable
