The Hosteller Coorg Rainforest, Madikeri

Beautiful hostel located directly in the rainforest. The area is calm and peaceful, you can spend a great time enjoying the view and walking around the pond in front of the building.Met great people here and the manager helped me with organizing my stay.The rooms are clean, also there is a beautiful common area on the 2nd floor.

Best stay for the location, one of the best hostel stays I've ever been to. Do not expect amazing food here. One of the biggest drawback is afternoon lunch and snacks as by the time you will reach the property between 1-6 PM, their kitchen is closed. Apart from this, I fell in love the scenic view and the magic.

Had an amazing stay in the middle of a coffee plantation. The terrace common area is surrounded by mystical forest and pond view. Also about 6kms|20ms from the nearest town. Though smaller Towns are 5 mins away. The approach roads are through thick green views. Would definitely like to go again. ;)

The location is quite scenic yet nearby the main the road. The staff is humble and polite. Syed, The Property Manager, is quite a friendly and down to earth person. All the facilities are great and up to the mark. On the suggestion part, I can say the food in the cafe can be a little better.

Me and my wife stayed here in the private room and the staff were very helpful we needed some medicine they helped us with that immediately. We liked the location and food here.

A staff member showed inappropriate behavior—hugging and kissing me after ensuring we were alone. I was shocked and frightened, especially as a solo traveler. This was followed by unsettling WhatsApp messages and calls from the reception number, which were deleted after being sent. The same staff member frequently entered my dorm without permission, using flimsy excuses.Despite reporting the issue, the property manager did little until my dorm mates intervened.

amazing jungle experience, but again expensive food

One of the best backpacker hostel In coorg. Beautiful location in middle of rainforest just like its name.

Hostel is located around 10 kms from Midikeri. The ride till the hosteller are through winding roads. There are few spots which have no lights and potholes so it's a bit adventures to ride after sunset. Hostel view and surrounding were beautiful. The hostel manager and the cafe manager were really good and made our stay comfortable. You'll get good North Indian veg/egg food. The crowd is a mix of group and couples so it takes some efforts if you are traveling solo. Overall an incredible exp.

The place is not that far from the city centre. But we need to go there before 5pm. Or else there are no proper road signs or lights in the route from city. Staff was very friendly. As the hostel was new the food was not that diverse. Cost was a bit high for the taste provided. Food was not Economy friendly for a travellers or hostellers. But the location and view are next to AMAZING. Suggestion:There are few leeches at the lake area. It would be better to provide first aid and inform new people

Need to improve wifi connectivity in dorms as then very difficult to do work from home here and it's only good then just for a vacation
