Had a really nice stay here. The staff were super helpful suggesting things to do in the local area. The common space was exceptionally clean and had a really welcoming vibe.I was very comfortable here and would happily stay again.
Very good friendly spacious and calm.. thebest bunk arranging I've ever seen almidt like a o5icate room. Although eager to assist surprised that their english is not more fluent Enjoyed their sashimi restaurant recommendation
Lovely place to stay in Wakkanai! Super close to the ferry terminal for trips to Rishiri island and Reuben island. Parking is close by, and so is the train station.
Great place. Very clean and the dorms were very spacious.
Very clean and very comfortable. Had a nice social area. The bunks are comfortable. There's a good little kitchen area but it wouldn't handle many people trying to cook. There's a Seico across the street. Had to pay 1000 yen to park two bicycles in their secure garage. In this day and age, why are we penalising cyclists who have (in our case) ridden 350km from Sapporo travelling onwards for many more km. The garage was huge. There was absolute no reason for this side hustle.
I only stayed a few days but I had a good time. The facilities were very good and the staff were very helpful with answering all of my questions. They also gave me many great recommendations for local places to eat!
great location, friendly and helpful staff, super clean, comfortable bunk beds. best place to be, the common area makes you feel at home. thanks
Decent place, and probably your best bet in Wakkanai. It’s more of an inn than a hostel, minimal social vibe, and the staff I interacted with couldn’t speak any English (and were misinformed about buying ferry tickets, which I find curious as maybe 90% of people passing through will be taking a ferry to the islands). Facilities were alright.
