Botanic Avenue Hostel

Very inaccurate to the photos. The property is in a sketchy area of town, the door is inaccessible without a code (which they don’t give before checkin, so I had to sit and wait till someone left to open the door). The property didn’t feel safe so I didn’t end up staying there, the first time I’ve done that after staying at numerous hostels before. There was a smell to it, it felt dirty, it didn’t feel homey at all, and the other people staying there were creepy and old.

Lovely clean warm hostel in a good location all amenities

This is the first time I have been to this hostel. In the beginning I did not know what to expect, but when I came here everything was really great. Yes, I will come again. I like it very much!!!!!!

Good but they have this old weird looking man who moans and coughs all night and no one can sleep.

Consigliato per chi di passaggio sulla città non per un soggiorno più lungo essendo locker piccoli e non verrà fornita chiave della stanza. Cucina ben fornita con anche caffè disponibile. Luogo comodo per la stazione del treno e abbastanza vicino al centro.

Hostel is in good location and nice walk to the city centre. Hostel is well maintained and cleanest hostel I have seen.

Really lovely and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and beds, well designed. Super clean! Lockable lockers for ea h bed. Great location with shops to buy supplies and range of different restaurants and cafes. Very close to Botanic subway.

Une auberge pratique et agréable. Les espaces communs sont par contre un peu petits pour pouvoir prendre un café le matin ou se restaurer le soir. L'auberge est très calme. Un peu bruyante avec le passage de la route simplement.

Make sure you have the code before you arrive. Per the staff hostelworld doesn’t allow her to automate messages to send the door code the way other apps do—booking.com etc. She sends the code to WhatsApp if you left a phone number on your profile, if not then to your email. Everything is there that is needed; mostly put females all in one room which was nice. It was very warm in the room, lockers were a bit small. A good clean place to stay. A professional if not particularly friendly receptionist, clean rooms and lockable lockers. It would have been nice to have chargers in the lockers instead of having watch and phone charging in the open in a shared dorm, but otherwise would highly recommend this place.

Ottima soluzione a basso costo, in posizione strategica x visitare la città. Hanno una camera solo donne (chiedete se non risulta disponibile sui siti di prenotazione) e offrono una colazione leggera (cosa che, prenotando su Hostelword, non era segnalata). Il personale è gentile e disponibile.

Great location for walking downtown or to the Queens university grounds . Very quiet and private,staff were very accommodating.. I would return,if in Belfast.. Spent only 3nights

You need a code to get through the front door that no one sent beforehand, another traveler and I waited for over an hour for the code and no one was there when we got there (I missed a reservation because of it.) That’s also the only security there is and the area outside of the hostel seemed a bit suspicious, pretty sure I watched a drug deal 2 doors down.

Excellent place, I totally recommend it

Good positioned and clean. The windows are quite old so there are a lot of noise coming from the street. Apart from that al is ok.

Agniezka is such a lovely host and an all-round person who took care of all my needs. The facilities were great too and kept clean and tidy at all times. Thanks for having me and see you soon.

It was a first class stay

The Hostel is in central location. They keep it very clean. Kitchen and bathrooms are in great condition.
