2 German travellers, 30+ years. €65 for a room. Downsides: you have to fill out a form that you give up all your legal rights, e.g. even if you die due to construction mistakes. Did not make sense until we found sharp metal pieces from cut off construction on the floor in room. Design generally overruled functionality. Rooms are XXS. No real courtains. Jacuzzis are cold. Upside: great breakfast. Nice staff. Quick reaction to feedback. Good4 insta pics if you need it. Free but loud salsa cla...
Beautiful hotel with a great pool, delicious food (special thanks to the two amazing ladies in the kitchen) and even a fun Bachata class. However, the room was much smaller than shown online and we had issues with a scorpion and later a huge cockroach. Staff helped but didn’t offer a room change. One security guard with a crossbody bag kept intruding into conversations, which felt uncomfortable.
Beautiful hotel with a great pool, delicious food (special thanks to the two amazing ladies in the kitchen) and even a fun Bachata class. However, the room was way much smaller than shown online (!) and we had issues with a scorpion and later a huge cockroach in our bed. Staff helped but didn’t offer a room change. One security guard with a crossbody bag kept intruding into conversations, which felt uncomfortable.
The idea is good and the place looks great, but there are some big flaws that need to be improved. Electricity fell 5 times in the 5 days I was there. Found 3 roaches. They call themselves a co-working place but put loud music from 20:00-23:00, and in the mornings there are yoga/fitness classes in the co-working space. One of the days there was a crying baby in the co-working space. Also some furniture is poorly designed, like the bathroom doors, lockers ,or stairs. If you wanna relax in the po...
hostel was clean and nicely kept but a little bit out of the way so not the best location. It wasn't very sociable fot solo travellers looking to meet people. There were two powercuts in the couple of days I was there, each lasting 4 or 5 hours. these didnt seeseem to affect any of the surrounding properties just our hostel and they said it was very normal but it meant no AC in the dormrooms so it was unbearably hot. Friends staying in other hostels had no such issues.
The hotel itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The pool is nice and the rooftop was a beautiful location for yoga. However, the reception staff were not friendly, nor helpful. The location is not ideal, about a 10min walk up two hills from the beach. The hotel only serves breakfast-type food and there is no food on Sundays. The common area was very loud due to fans and nearby construction. The private rooms are TINY, however AC works well. Yoga class was great (but extra fee).
It’s better than the photos, absolutely stunning place to wake up to Dead vibe though, didn’t meet anyone in 3 nights, I’d say it’s good place for couples or content creators wanting downtime The mosquitoes killed me though, had to spend my last night elsewhere - need some nets around the beds Food and shower gel were great though lol
The place is objectively gorgeous and it has everything you need to co-work….when it works. I stayed here much longer than most people and found things to be incredibly inconsistent. Some days we would have water and some days we would not. Some days we would have electricity and A/C and some days we would not. Some days the wifi would be very strong and other days it would not. Some days the kitchen would be open and other days it would not. Beautiful place, great staff, but many kink...
The dorm rooms were really great. Great private bed with a curtain. Big en-suite shower and clean. The atmosphere isn’t hostel at all, very hotel like, everyone keeps to themself, even in the shared rooms. The place is full with travelers that came to work (computer), and staying in the common rooms wasn’t a good vibe. Would recommend to a couple or someone that wants either too keep to himself or looks for a nice place to work abroad from. The staff were really really nice and friendly.
the hostel is located near the main street and a bit far away from the beach in my opinion. i didnt get to try out any activities bc of my short stay, in general it seemed not very social

The location is about 10 minutes from the main strip, near a convenience store and the main avenue. The place is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean. A great place to stay for remote work
Heel fijn hostel! Fijne mensen en lekker ontbijt! Op zaterdag een salsa en bachata avond, heel leuk! Schoon en fijne bedden, top airco.
got a special deal here for a private room. Really good value for money
Amazing hostel, it's clean, organized, relaxed, I stayed in a private room and it is comfortable! The food from the cafe is good and the internet works well to work. Would come back.

One of my favorite stays ever. This place has a special place in my heart. Great staff, beautiful environment, guests in dorm are very respectful, tranquil working environment.
Clean and boutique style hostel. Good space for co-working, although electricity can drop at random times. Chill atmosphere throughout the day and having the cafe in the building is quite convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and they offer daily cleaning of the room if wanted. Water is cold, which seems normal for Puerto Esc. Only the location is a bit further walk away from town center

Deseo volver pronto.
I stayed in the female dorm and really appreciated the thoughtful design of the room and beds. The property doesn’t have much of a social atmosphere outside of the rooms, and there aren’t many activities offered other than the salsa night, but it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a calmer stay. I really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzis, and the restaurant had some nice drinks as well. One note about the salsa night: quiet hours are supposed to start at 11pm, but it went on well past mi...
