Worst Hostel I have ever stayed at!!! Pros: - luggage storrage worked fine - staff was mostly friendly - wifi worked Cons: - homeless people, dirt and excrement on the walls in the neighborhood (you can donated for homeless people to stay at the hostel, so they May be in a room with you) - bathrooms were smelly and moldy - staff was not concidered of turning the AC down as it was WAY to cold - mattresses are like 10cm thick We left After one night

Facility was okay, only realized after the fact that it’s located in a very sketchy neighborhood, had to take roundabout way to avoid the sketchy people near the hostel, I had really bad hostel mates as well, overall I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

Malade, on me fait nettoyer le couloir à 4h du matin alors en sous vêtements en insinuant que je n'avais pas qu'à consommer de l'alcool. Je demande des explications par email plus tard pour donner un droit de réponse à l'établissement et on m'accuse de chantage ! Le service avant tout :)

Honnêtement pour avoir été hébergée dans plusieurs auberges en France et en Europe, je ne recommanderais vraiment pas cette auberge. Un homme dans les sanitaires femme en pleine nuit, très mauvaise odeur dans les sanitaires pendant tous le séjour. Une dame dans ma chambre me demandait de l'argent et téléphonais en parlant très fort dans la chambre. Plusieurs souris dans la chambre. L'homme de l'accueil a indiqué "c'est comme ça partout on est en ville". Pas en sécurité proche de l'...

NON PRENOTATE QUESTO OSTELLO, RUBANO. Sono stato derubato nell'ostello in questione dentro la camera, fatevi un favore: se venite a visitare lione cercate qualche altro ostello che offra un servizio dignitoso. l'unica stella che lascio è per la miglior receptionist di Francia, grazie Claudia:)

First of all there are homeless people wandering around the place, ive seen the owners reply to other comments saying this with "it clearly states on our website blah blah blah" but it does not. Secondly, the old lady working at the bar was very rude to me and my friends and did not make us feel welcome at all. Next the bathrooms and showers were unavailable from 1pm to about 5pm for cleaning and we had to wait in our room for them to finish. The room itself was horrible with absolutely no secur...

The beds move a lot and they sound too much, I don’t sleep because of one person shouting, the staff do not solve the problem.

Worst experience ever! Staff is rude and make you feel unwanted or like a problem. The dormitory is an architecture and design disaster, you have this paper like beds in which if you breathe you'll make noise, don't let me start on moving during the night. There are no hangers and a silly wooden structure that again makes the most noise not to be said that you could easily avoid that by placing a shelf beside the bed. Kitchen with knives you couldn't slither a throat. Weird people come and go

Personnel gentil et serviable, c’est propre et convivial, bien situé. Plusieurs dysfonctionnements dont le bruit de l’air dans la chambre des filles, la clé de la porte qui ne fonctionne pas car serrure difficile, le truc le plus frustrant a été les toilettes 3 heures pour nettoyer avec impossibilité d’accès pour les clients car cela sèche. J’ai été dans plusieurs hostels et je n’avais encore jamais vu ça…obligées à chaque fois de demander pour aller dans d’autres cha...

It was a good stay had everything we needed. However the area appeared a bit run down. We stayed in a 16-bed female dorm and this again was okay. It appeared like some residents may have lived there. But did not bother us. The beds on the other hand were very squeaky it was difficult to sleep in and uncomfortable. But this is probably due to our personal preference.

Someone took all my cash from my wallet in the middle of the night 👍

Ich war nur eine Nacht im Hostel, aber ich kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. During Atmosphäre war toll und man braucht nur 5 min zur Rhône. Sowohl Check-In als auch Check-Out war super nett. Nur die Matratzen sind etwas dünn, aber hat mich nicht von einer sehr erholsamen Nacht abgehalten.

The location and facilities are nice but the bed was not comfortable and bathroom was somewhat moldy so would not stay here again. Staff was very thoughtful though!

Did not like this place. The bathrooms reeked and generally felt dirty. Beds had no curtains and rattled like hell when going up and down bunk bed ladder. Staff were not often at reception, making it difficult to get in and request help. While the place was lively, some residents seem to be living there. Overall not a very nice place.

Decent wifi. Bed linen provided. Warm (October) confortable room despite the hard-closing window. Common bathroom is quite clean, but the common kitchen could be better : while kitchenware are kept clean, doors, chairs are kind of sticky. The common kitchen has fridges, a microwave and cooking plates. Lockers in the room (under the beds : not the most convenient solution) and an electrical socket next to each bed. I felt myself safe. Breakfast too basic (no cheese, no fruits).

My daughter and I spent a few days here and absolutely loved it. The rooms are comfortable and not overpacked. The lounge and bar are wonderful - good prices and great service - GREAT atmosphere. The kitchen is large and very comfortable to use. A grocery store is two blocks away, but there are lots of excellent restaurant options. We loved our time at Le Flâneur Guesthouse.

The location of this hostel is good and the communal area is very welcoming., It is nice that you can buy a drink from the bar and relax in the main room. The dormitory was very crowded with beds, and I did not feel very welcomed by the other guests staying there. The dormitory was very hot and the heating system was very noisy so I did not feel I slept very well. I did not use the cooking facilities but they looked ok. It is definitely a budget hostel, and I’m not sure I would stay again.

Super nette Mitarbeiter - Frühstück war etwas mau, aber da kann man drüber hinweg schauen. Vorhänge vor den Betten wäre nicht schlecht gewesen. Wer schnell seekrank wird, sollte nicht oben schlafen. Grossartige Lage, alles Mega gut erreichbar. Der Gemeinschaftsraum hatte ein tolles Ambiente und wird uns für immer im herzen bleiben. Vielen Dank, und vielleicht sieht man sich mal wieder. Liebe Grüße ! (Der Abfluss hat Mega gestunken - Verbesserungspotential !! )

Un hostel un peu éloigné du centre de Lyon. L’ édifice est vieux et la cuisine n’est pas moderne. Personnel gentil. Grande salle et jardin pour s’asseoir et passer le temps. Déjeuner français inclus dans le prix, c’est très économique.

Overall my experience was okay. The bunk beds were very shaky and any slight movement would make tons of noise. When i took a shower the water was cold. The place was decently clean and the workers were nice but this place wasn’t anything special. The breakfast wasn’t that good but overall decent for the price i paid to stay for one night.

Die Unterkunft war eher dreckig, die Duschen ekelig und es hat komisch gerochen. Die Küche war benutztbar. Dort waren viele ältere Männer und auch Obdachlose, weshalb wir uns etwas unwohl gefühlt haben. Als Frau würde ich eher in ein Frauenzimmer investieren. Das Personal war freundlich. Lage und die Gegend war okay. Als Frau würde ich nicht alleine Nachts rumlaufen.
