Really only good if you want to be totally secluded from the world. You cannot enjoy Granada night life as the last bus back is at 10:30 pm. Not good for solo travellers
This property is beautiful and it is a lovely escape from the city of Granada however it is important to note that if you’re not comfortable with being alone and secluded then this property is not for you . There is not much for doing but relaxing by the pool or going for hikes. The weather was too warm to be doing hike unless you get up very early to start . The fan in the dorm is very old and did not work well .I think you should invest in a better fan. Overall , a pleasant stay !
Fundalucia was a very comfortable place to stay for a hostel. The hosts were present but discrete at the same time. The whole place functions on a "trust" level, which makes the atmosphere quite relaxed and calm. Well equipped kitchen and "grocery" stack to use in case of needs. A good place to relax and a basis for nice day-walks in the Sierra Nevada, after visiting the center of Grenada.
The area this hostel is in is BEAUTIFUL, as well as the property. But while there is a shuttle that usually comes around every two hours to take you into Granada, I came during their holiday and on a Sunday… which means VERY limited shuttles. This made getting into Granada very difficult, so if you’re going during a Spanish holiday just spend the extra money to stay in Granada. There was only one small lockbox for the whole room and no locks any of the doors… place was clean and did the jo...
Good place to go for a hike in the mountains and to relax. You have to take the bus to Granada which takes half an hour and drives several times a day. Good kitchen!
The location was awful. So far from the city, thus transport is limited. I didnt really read the location when booking cuz i was booking many things for this long trip so i only focused on the overall score of the place. (My bad, i know) Still cute and quiet place.. had a really good sleep. They also have a pantry to buy food from which was very handy.
Great place to relax. Nothing too fancy. Bus is about 30 min from Granada (reduced service on Sundays). The short walk from the bus stop to the hostel can be punishing with luggage in the heat. Decent kitchen to make food / coffee. The small shops in the town are limited. Two bars in town are nice for a drink but not worth it for food. Rooms need lockers for valuables.

Das Hostel ist sehr schön. Positiv waren die anderen Mitreisenden, der schöne Garten, die gute Ausstattung der Küche, die Lage in der Natur, und interessante Angebote wie Hypnose und Klangmediation. Negativ war, dass die Wand neben dem Bett großflächig mit schwarzem Schimmel übersät war (was die Gastgeber wussten, aber mit der Begründung, dass der Schimmel bereits getrocknet sei, unproblematisch fanden), dass es sehr kalt war und dass der Hund der Besitzer einen immer wie verrückt anbel...
The hostel is very beautiful. positive were the other fellow travelers, the beautiful garden, the good kitchen equipment, the location in nature, and interesting offers such as Hypnosis and Sound Mediation. negative was that the wall next to the bed was covered with black mold (which the hosts knew, but with the reason that the mold was already dried, they found unproblematic), that it was very cold and that the owner's dog was always barking like a mad dog.

I enjoyed staying at ‘Fundalucia.’ i was attracted to the alpine location and laid back attitude in their description. I had a private room and bath that was clean and spacious. Axel checked me in, and was professional and courteous. Tea and coffee are available for brewing in the morning or any time. todo muy bien pero solo pasamos una noche
Everything is fine but we're just spending one night.
Les instructions reçues par courriel pour se rendre à l'auberge étaient très claires, malgré que celle-ci se trouvait dans un endroit plus reculé. J'ai adoré les dortoirs dans les petites cabanes, le site était vraiment magnifique! La cuisine était bien, avec possibilité d'acheter quelques aliments sur place.
The instructions received by email to get to the hostel were very clear, despite the fact that it was in a more remote location. i loved the dorms in the small cabins, the site was really beautiful! the kitchen was good, with the possibility to buy some food on site.

Séjour très ressourçant. Nombreuses randonnées au départ de l'auberge, au milieu des oliviers et des amandiers. Deux épiceries dans le village, plus une petite supérette dans l'auberge qui est bien pratique. La chambre de 4 pour femmes était en fait une chambre de 3 avec une salle de bain. J'ai fait de belles rencontres dans cette auberge à taille humaine, avec d'autres randonneurs et des pèlerins. Espaces extérieurs parfaits pour se reposer. Many walks from the inn, amid olive trees and almond trees. Two grocery stores in the village, plus a small supermarket in the inn which is very convenient. The 4 for women room was actually a 3 bedroom with a bathroom. I had some nice encounters in this human-sized inn, with other hikers and pilgrims. Perfect outdoor spaces for relaxing. I recommend to all nature lovers.
Delightful and scenic hostel with clean facilities. Lovely place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet few days in the mountains!

A very welcoming hostal with everything one needs, in a small town. It is not in Granada, but out of town, perfect for hiking, pilgrims, mountain biking. Getting up to the hostel is a bit of a push as the last 100 yards are walking up a steep grave and then steps. The room was neat, warm and clean. They had a good space to keep our bicycles.
Es ist wunderschön hier, einer meiner liebsten Orte auf meiner Reise. Die Menschen hier alle sehr lieb. Sauber, alles was man braucht, Küche top, das Kaminzimmer ist sehr gemütlich. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder!!
It is beautiful here, one of my favorite places on my trip. the people here are all very nice. clean, everything you need, kitchen top, the fireplace is very cozy. come on any case again!!
Parfait! Lieu très calme idéal pour se reposer. Dortoir spacieux et cuisine plus que complète avec café et thé offerts. Il y a un magasin qui contient tout le nécessaire dans le village. Je recommande!
Perfect! very quiet place ideal for resting. spacious dormitory and kitchen more than complete with coffee and tea offers. there is a store that contains everything needed in the village. i recommend it!

Ganz ganz tolles Hostel! Die Atmosphäre war super angenehm und es herrschte ein sehr positiver und wertschätzender Umgang zwischen den anderen Reisenden sowie auch mit dem Hostelbesitzer. Die Lage ist traumhaft für Ruhe und wunderschöne Wanderungen! Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Küche sowie das Wohnzimmer mit Feuerofen sehr gemütlich und auch Wäschewaschen war total unkompliziert. Ganz ganz toller Ort, kann ich nur empfehlen!
The atmosphere was super pleasant and there was a very positive and appreciative interaction between the other travelers as well as with the hostel owner. the location is traumatic for tranquility and beautiful walks! the accommodation was clean, the kitchen and living room with stove very cozy and also laundry was totally uncomplicated. very great place, I can only recommend!
I had a really nice, relaxing weekend at this hostel in the mountains. The location is great, quiet, and perfect for some downtime in nature. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay comfortable and easy. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for a peaceful break. Would definitely recommend!
