Lowkey, terrible hostel. Horrible beds, barely any common areas. Prize too high for what it truly is.
Location is good. The room was in the basement, so it was dark. It also smelled mouldy. It wasn’t very clean. The vibe was off. People were loud when coming home late.
Receptionist with a very cold beaviour, not a smile, an automatic speech. I asked if I could hang out my laundry as I am a pilgrim and am doing the Camino de Santiago and was told it was not possible. There is mould in the showers. I paid 38 euros (the hostels of the camino are cheap normally, you pay between 10 and 20 euros) and I didn't even have breakfast or at least a coffee. Never again in this hostel. Very bad
El Hostsl está muy bien ubicado y es un lugar bonito. Sin embargo, en la habitación de ocho hacía mucho calor y otras personas habían dejado comida en la habitación que nunca se limpió. Finalmente, la persona que los atendió es bastante grosero, cuando reservé por esta app la caña me salió tres veces más cara que hacerlo directamente en el hostal ( me di cuenta por qué justo al frente había alguien reservando una cama) y cuando le manifesté esto al recepcionista fue muy grosero
The hostel is terrible, the rooms are in the basement - no windows. The toilette are very dirty, there is no hot water. The bed uncomfortable, and too expensive for the service provided.
Looked like someone kept making salad in the showers. Beds were plain (one outlet and no shelf) next to the beds) and the rooms cramped. The locker was super small and probably could have been jiggled open. It worked for me on a single night between places - but it there is something else comparable on price, I wouldn’t recommend.
The place was overpriced (45 EUR/night when I visited) for what it offers: very little space, old-school bunkbeds, no female dorms, no room to work with your laptop... 20 EUR/night or less would be more reasonable
El personal muy amable. La ubicación muy buena. Pero el espacio muy pequeño. No había zonas comunes. las habitaciones extremadamente chicas para 8 personas... Jamás me había pasado de llegar a mí habitación y encontrar la puerta abierta con alguien del personal durmiendo ahí... Que claramente se fue cuando llegamos... Muy fuera de lugar. No vale su precio, hay miles por la zona con mejores servicios... Y respecto al ambiente, lleno de jóvenes mal educados, sin respeto en un espacio co...
Horrible hostel. Very expensive (although this may be a problem of San Sebastián in general). Their is no real common space outside a kitchen with no illumination. The rooms re small and packed with beds. The bathrooms and showers are dirty, and quite messy. No breakfast offered. If their is anything available for an amount of money slightly higher avoid this place at all cost.

Beetje onhandige plek voor de douches en wc’s, zo pal achter de receptie🤓
Muy bien ubicado, a dos cuadras aprox de la estacion de bus. Los chicos que trabajan ahi muy buena onda y con mucha predisposicion para ayudar. Las intalaciones en general estan bien. Buena relacion precio calidad. Tuvimos una secuencia con un chico borracho en la habitacion que vomito y el personal de la noche lo resolvio bien.
The Downtown river hostel is a good place, the workers are very kind and comprehensive. It's very clean and safe. Just the geographical position is not easy for someone to find it, if it's his first time in San Sebastian city; particularly there is no direction information plaque on the roadway towards the bus station indicating the direction of the hotel.
Hostel pratique et bien situé , rien à redire
I am a young solo female traveler and booked an 8-bed mixed dorm. I’ve been away for 6 months and have NEVER had a problem. I was placed on a downstairs level with 7 men all above 30, none English-speaking, and no other females on that level. I felt extremely unsafe and ended up leaving. I asked to change as I saw other travellers on a different level. They said they were fully booked which I understand but when booking a mixed dorm you expect a mix with some females. Very scary experience.
En av de bästa hostels vi varit på! Perfekt plats i staden och bra sovsalar med sköna sängar. Den ända nackdelen vi upplevde var saknaden av AC, de använde sig av fläktar vilket blev varmt. Men annars toppen ställe! Rekommenderar starkt⭐️
Falta que pongan basureros en las piezas. La ubicación muy buena, eso sí, carísimo. El precio no lo vale para nada Recomiendo que se fijen mejor en las reservas y así ordenen mejor las piezas: gente de edades parecidas, los que viajan solos, etc.
Leider stimmt Preis Leistung garnicht. Zimmer im Keller. Kein Toilettenpapier. Für weniger Geld wäre es in Ordnung; da stellt man sich drauf ein
It’s a nice location but otherwise the atmosphere isn’t nice and the bathrooms aren’t very clean either. The beds are also very simple. All in all it’s way too much money for what it’s offering.
Todo muy bien, quizas le falta un area para poder estar tranquilo, solo tiene cocina, cuarto y baño
L'ostello si trova a dieci minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia e dal mare, vicinissimo alla stazione degli autobus. Luogo ospitale e accogliente, generalmente pulito. Ogni letto è dotato di ventilatore. Staff disponibile e cordiale, disponibile a custodire i bagagli. L'unico spazio comune presente è la cucina. Non sono presenti servizi per lavare i vestiti e per asciugarli, essendo una località di mare risulta un po' scomodo.

The hostel has everything you need but it’s basic. I met some really nice people there and the location and de staff are great but I missed a nice common room. Also the beds, showers and building don’t really have the best atmosphere (and it was still quite expensive), but still I liked it!

The hostel did not wash the sheets on any of the beds. They were stained and grimy with a horrible smell. Location and staff were awesome, but bathrooms and security were poor. Anyone can walk into ur room as there is no lock system, only keys and the bathrooms were also very dirty. It’s not a hostel for young people, the demographic is a lot older to men majority 60 years old. Didn’t refund my friend after her flight was delayed and couldn’t stay first night.

Staff were so lovely at this hostel!!! i only stayed one night but they treated me as if i lived there even after i’d checked out by letting me store my luggage and use all the facilities too. location is perfect. my only issue was the bed wasn’t the comfiest
